as I was 11/12 years I had a role in Hair as a little girl (we performed in the opera house of my city)...later I made the choreography (together with a fiend) and performed in a musical for children my church produced called Jona...

Oh boy umm... all of them have been at church. This country play at the age of 8, Nic at Night, Dr. Newheart's Neck-up Checkup, Promise U, Esther, Fish Tales, The Gospel According to Scrooge (8 years in a row), several skits for FA and other. That's all I can remember right now.

Into the woods is a sweet show! Ha. Funny story.

We were assigned to read two specific books and a play, over the summer, for my English class. Well, All I remembered about the play was that It started with an "I" and the first word was "In" or something akin to that... So I just went to the library and got a copy of Into The Woods, because it sounded right, and we were studying books w/ similar themes... Yah. So I arrive in classs the first, day, full of knowledge about this play, and so happy to hear the words , "Test!" becasue I just knew I was going to beat it down.
And then the phrase on the board, "Inherit The Wind quiz Today" caught my eye. "Inherit The Wind!" How was I supposed to Know!? Needless to say, that was painful end to my day. I liked Into The Woods so much too....

Gotta add one more to my list. :)

Tomorrow I'm going to be performing a one-act play in front of my church congregation called "The Balloon Party." It's a parable about God's gifts. It's a little lame, but it makes a good point. :)

I shouldn't have been picked as the lead character though... Performance is tomorrow morning and I still don't have all my lines memorized.. oops.. :sorry:

Pray that my friends and I do well! :)

We did our one acts last night! Ours was a hilarious piece about two old ladies in a Burger King, discussing politics, and whether they REALLY want to order or not. Well, the audience just loved it, but for us! We had a part where my fellow actresssaid a line that wasn't in the script, and I just couldn't stop laughing, and then she started and couldn't stop, and pretty soon, the entire auditorium was filled with everyone's laughter! Turned out they liked the fact that even the actors get the sillies sometimes.;)They even started clapping for us, as we were laughing! It was a fantastic night!!

I am in the play Annie for my school. We are using the Broadway Jr. Script. I was cast as Pepper, and I was kinda disappointed cause I wanted to be Annie but then I rememebered that it must be really demanding to have lead part. Plus it's lots of fun to be an orphan in the play. The day I found out I went home and said, "Guess what Dad? I'm an orphan!" and his eyes bugged out and he said "What?!" and I said "In the PLAY. " and he said "Oh. Okay. " It was sooo funny!

ive never done annie, but i have a close friend who played flute in the orchestra for her school. se got given a solo at the last minitue - and being an orchestra not a big band(like anything goes) its harder to take on last minitue things, she did really well for minimal practice!
