I understand what you mean. Let's go with levitation and has anyone in the bible had that experience? I've experienced many things but not that one! Baited ears.....

Leviyation was the first thing I remenber purposely doing, other than something as a baby. I was quite young at the time and didn't believe a word anyone said because I couldn't trust my parents for reasons.

I wondered if ESP existed or if it didn't. I figured the only way I would know for sure is to try to learn how. I started reading everything I could on levitation from people who had reportedly done it. The common thread in all of them was that people had to be in a meditative state to be able to levitate, so I started studying meditation.

Like most reasearch I've donr, I found 90% junk and 10% truth. I learned how to meditaye, but still couldn't levitate. I did some studying on faith and knew I only had to have the faith of a mistard seed, what was holding me back? I thought about it and realized it was my disbelief that was holding me back. Everyone said it wasn't possible. So, I suspended my disbelief and floated to the ceiling.

Uncertain if this was forbidden or not, just exactly what is witchcraft, sorcery, etc... it was not something I practiced. In my early 20's I did it again just to make sure I still could, and I could.

I have since determined that levitation was not forbidden for a number of reason. Jesus walked on the water by faith, same principle. Jesus ascended into the clouds, same principal. According to bible research witchcraft is "spells and incantations", you trick yourself into believing spells and deny the true source of the power.

It is not an easy thing to do by any means, even though I know it's possible. Sort of like Jesus telling his apostles that some deamons could only be cast out through fasting and meditation/prayer.

I find no real reason to levitate so don't bother refining the gift, I find no yrue use for it at this point in time. I belueve, however, that in the future I will find use for it so will work on it then.

I must say I am curious.....I should've been named curious George. You provided the needed question and answered the questions fore thought. I will probably chew on this one and come back with questions......I'm almost sure. But I find this amazing and do not doubt this happened to you. Interesting :)

I have always heard that up until 5 years old children have a very open connection to heaven. My great-grandma used to always say we have a silver thread that can't be seen by the naked eye, which goes from the top of our head into heaven. My great-niece, who will be 2 in a couple of weeks, mentions my step-dad from time to time, and he passed away 6 months ago. She will stare off into emptiness and smile and I will say, "What do you see?" and she says "Pap!". All the more awe inspiring because of the fact that she had only met him a couple of times because he was in and out of hospitals and nursing homes for a year and a half before he died.

I remember a time when I was 4 and I was playing with my brother and sisters and I stated I was having so much fun, I was going to love remembering this in the future. My older sister stated thatI wouldn't remember it, neither her or my brother remembered anything before the age of 5.

I decided that I was going to try to remember everthing I could then so in bed at night I tried to remember every thing I could.

I had bits and pieces of memory, somethings I could not remember, like I remembered being on a camping trip but not how we got there, etc...

Some things I did remember, however, were talking to God. I remember waking up in my mothers womb as my umbilical cord was wrapoed around my next choking me. I cried out to God for help and my umbilical cord loosened up. Later I told my mother about this and she then mentioned that when I was born I had an extremely long umbilical cord and it was wrapped around my neck.

I remembered being born and the biggest thing I remember was how cold it was, oh so cold. I remember the doctor spanking me so I would cry and breath and I remember how mad/sad/disgruntled I was at this, I jad just been born and they cause me pain, why? Again, mentioningvthis to my mother she said that when I was born my eyes were wide open looking around.

I have two sets of memories before this, however, although I understand most people would only have 1. (Most people are not Witnesses, however, capitol W).

I have come to the understanding that at an early age our brains are not quite set up yet for memories and we remember in our spirit. When our brains develop we start depending on the memories in our physical bodies so forget sll the rest.

I believe God talks to all of us as children, - but because God wants us to be rightous not because He's watching us, but because we want to be good -, God has us forget.

It is easy to doubt, and I do, indeed, doubt all the time. But then I remember the thousands of other tjings I experience on an almost daily basis and so don't doubt.

If something like this had only happened once or twice I would definately believe it was a false memory or I was scitzophrenic. Even with my knowledge I still get goosebumps when something miraculous happens yet again. Usually when I have a vision of the future, or ask God for something, and it comes to pass.

It frustrates me, in fact, that I get reamazed by it every time because I know for a fact that it's real and it's God. If I wasn't reamazed every time then I could levitate at will without having to fight the doubt first.

There is something about being human that makes us doubt, I haven't been able to identify exactly what it is, however. My current working theory is that Satan/demons keep telling us God isn't real so we have doubts, but I am not sure that's what it is.

It is the same thing that even though you know God exists, you know Jesus said if you had but the faith of a mustard seed we could do miraculous things, we still doubt when someone tells us about it.

If you can learn to get rid of that doubt, even for a second, you could cast a mountain onto the sea. Or levitate, walk on water, or anything you could think of.

I see a very good use for that gift. If you can travel around the world and show people. "This is what a person of faith is capable of." Just think of how many lost souls God could bring to himself through you. It would be amazing the good you could do with an ability like that!

Yes.... but why did your sister say you would not remember?

Because, she stated, my sister and my older brother could not remember anything before the age of 5. My older sister is 3 years older than me, so she would of been 7. She could only remember from the age of 5 and onward.

You said you found out how to meditate......there are many ways...would you mind sharing the one that worked for you?

Also, when you levitated, were you out of your body or still in?

Part of my duties here on Earth is to learn, and is actually the reason I was sent here. How can I explain to someone how creation works if I don't know myself? So, I have to learn it all, mainly so I can explain to others both here on Earth and... for other reasons.

Specifically for levitation it is for Revelation 11:12, although that was not my intent when I first learned how to do it.

One word.......EXPOSED.
I once heard a story of a little girl who did not know..... or so they thought she did not know, let me tell you that story.
For those that thought they had power was brought low, because they were prideful in their ways and thought themself to be wise and clever.
But the little girl knew better, the little girl was trained in their manipulating ways. She hated the fact that so many fell into the trap that was set before them. But she had traveled the road so many times she was not blind. They all thought......Oh little girl you are so easy to betray, you are so easy to manipulate......But Ohhhh no little girl was not that easy to manipulate, for you see she saw thru everything that the enemy brought her way. Even those things that seemed to be of good. But proved they are not. For even at this moment, they are hating, because they are full of pride and wish to fool many. So for those that do not know the story of that little girl.....Never forget this story, that "it" tried to prove itself prideful and wonderful, full of promises to do things without meaning. Do not seek after the story that this little girl knows......for to go there would sometimes prove to be dreadful. And so that is the story, of the girl who they thought, did not know.......But true to be, she knew all along. Hope you understand the meaning behind this story. I heard this story forty something years ago.....and I refer to it to this very day.

Why did i share this story? Because it was much needed, they are people in pain, they are people who are hurting, they are children who have no voice. I wanted to share this story for the people who are trapped and feel they have no voice. You do have a voice. But do not be deceived. God was there all the time, everytime. But satan decided to mislead you. But God wants to redeem you. That was the story I once heard........

You said you found out how to meditate......there are many ways...would you mind sharing the one that worked for you?

Also, when you levitated, were you out of your body or still in?

Well, if I was out of my body it would of been an OBE, out of body experience, and in an OBE there is no physical body to have to obey the laws of physics anyway.

I have learned to get into a meditative state in two ways. A meditative state, I have found out, where your brain is in a half awake state, similar to a dream state, where the mind can accept anything given to it as fact. The reasoning, I have theorized, that when we are asleep and/or dreaming our brains are sorting the experiences throughout the day for long term storage. Our brains have already processed the information so accepts it as fact. In a meditive state obe is in this brain state without actually being asleep. This is where post hypnotic suggestions can be inserted, etc...

The traditional way of meditation is from a waking state to calm the mind of thoughts, which can take quite a bit of practice. A shortcut is from the other side, coming from a sleep state before the brain is fully awake.

I have learned to do both, although I learned the shortcut first. When you first wake up before you open your eyes you are in such a state. As soon as you open your eyes you fully awaken. It is very difficult to remember this when you first wake up, however, and I was only able to do it that way once. Of course you have to make sure you're not lucid dreaming also, as you could dream stuff that isn't actually happening.

Like others here, I have several such experiences, but this is probably the most "documented":

My wife and I rented a cabin at a resort; it was our first time there. In the middle of the night, I woke up and felt a "presence" there (this has happened several different times), but I couldn't tell who it was. I knew they weren't evil, and I felt that they mostly wanted reassurance.

After a while I fell asleep again and dreamed of my niece. She was diabetic and had been on dialysis for about 2 years. In the dream, she appeared in a very snowy TV picture. She was distressed and was talking to me, but I couldn't understand her (bad sound).

I didn't know what to make of all this until we returned from our vacation and my nephew called to tell me that his sister had died.

I asked: "When did she die?"

He replied: "During the night on Sunday the 3rd"

The night at the cabin.

You already know what that story means Jim.

Actually, no, I do not. I do not have a clue. Perhaps if someone else here understands it they could explain it to me.
