the ip issue being talked about was a server-side error. somehow when a user came to the site the load balancer was registering everyone's ip as 67.220.204.164...so when someone would put in their information, vbulletin would read it as only one person trying to access the site using multiple passwords...

i think all of this is figured out now, and there shouldnt be anymore login issues.

Wow, thats a new one.

Oh yeah - something i found that may be of use to you somehow - when subscribing to threads through the thread tools dialogue, you select your notification and go subscribe, it tells you that your subscription has been addded then redirects you... However, it redirects you to a 404 error... Any idea whats happening here?

Its all Greek to me I so far have been lucky with the password log in issue. I have only had to deal with the inablility to boot up the site or inablility to log in to threads beyond home page once here. At the moment things seem just dandy. gg

How you can not consider your 'hint' regarding the origin of these 'troubles' as not being insulting to non-Christian members is beyond my ability to parse.

Or someone professing to be a Christian....The thought has crossed my mind that Troy Brooks might have been behind it. He is well known for his attempts to sneak back in here even though he has been banned, under many different names, multiple times. I can't prove anything, but I wouldn't put it past him....

guys let's let the proper authorities and the top CF people handle this. God already knows who did it .....so he/she/they won't get away with it in the long run.

That seems the most plausible, the database will have many tables and they were probably just referencing each other incorrectly.

Because, in December 2006, I joined a Christian Site
because since that 'joining'
the SITE RULES, 'changed' [?] to permit and welcome non-christians
and also to set guidelines for this
