Correction: The DNA, which you inherited from your prehistoric ancestors, who were NOT Humans (descendants of Adam) until AFTER the Ark arrived, was 1.1% Neanderthal. Amen?
I have no idea what this means, but yeah, 1.1% Neanderthal! Amen!?

Just because you have the DNA of Neanderthal does NOT mean that Neanderthal was a Human. (Descendant of Adam) Does it? Remember that Noah's grandsons children also inherited the DNA from their Mothers, who were NOT Adam's descendants. The sons of God (prehistoric people) were here MILLIONS of years BEFORE the Ark arrived 11k years ago.

We are well aware than Neanderthals are not the same species as ourselves, since we have sequenced Neanderthal DNA. Hitchslap is just messing with you a bit.

Well, he certainly acts like a Cave dweller. Maybe there was a sneaky, old, dog hiding in the woodpile. Now, all that's left is Hit. As the mountain hooger would say. "That's hit". Amen?

I think the generational gaps between us has me at a loss; I have no idea what a hooger is, and are you suggesting that there is a dog in his family tree?

Maybe an Ape? He seems really happy to claim the intelligence of Neanderthal.

BTW, In the South, we refer to mountaintop bumpkins who hide out in the woods as mountain hoogers. It's pronounced like Indiana Hooziers with a g. I know since my mother in law always referred to me as such. She also said my head belonged in Washington to use as a Spittoon. She was a real feisty one. I always suspected her of being part Neanderthal or wild Woman.

He probably just thinks it's neat to have some Neanderthal DNA, considering that not all people have it.

I feel ya on the monster of a mother in law, though mine is definitively insane in addition to not liking me. She once suggested to my fiance that I might be tricking him into leaving the "safety" of her house to sacrifice him to the devil... and then later started breaking a chair with a hammer while singing "Another One Bites the Dust" by Queen. A very disturbed woman, to say the least. Being religious doesn't save one from the "demons" of psychological disorder, amen?

No, she is crazy, and I am glad I live very, very far away from her. I have no doubt that if she met me in person, she'd want to inflict physical harm upon me.

I have been blessed with two absolutely wonderful mothers-in-law. The second one I knew longer than I knew my own mother. She passed last year at 99 years 6 months.

You do not know what you are talking about. If I quote someone - I post the link. If I quote wiki then I put (wiki) after the post.

Here is your post with the 100% plagiarism:

What happened to neanderthal man?

No links. No quotation marks. No mention of wiki anywhere.

I would say that I am expecting an apology from you, but I know that evangelical types never apologize ala trump, their new Savior.

It guarantees it since Religion is the enemy of Christ. People who believe whatever it is they believe, can justify anything they do as being correct since it fits their religion/belief. It's another reason to get the religious to justify their Truth with the agreement of Scripture, Science and History. IF it's really True, then it MUST agree with EVERY other discovered Truth. Amen?

Religious beliefs and/or practices can either be helpful or unhelpful to one's spiritual development. However, to say that "Religion is the enemy of Christ" is to grossly overstate the case.

I don't know if everything that's true is ultimately connected with everything else that is true. For example, my favorite color is purple. As it so happens, this is also my fiance's favorite color. However, the fact of what my favorite color is has no connection whatsoever to the fact of what his favorite color is.

Religion, which is an unsupported belief, is the enemy of people since it presents "another" Gospel.

Gal 1:6 I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: Gal 1:7 Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ. Gal 1:8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. Gal 1:9 As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.

The Gospel (good news) of Jesus Christ is the POWER of God (The Trinity) unto salvation. There is NO other power of God unto salvation, Scripturally.

Rom 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.
1Co 1:18 For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the powerof God.
1Co 1:24 But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God.
1Co 2:5 That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.

I'm not sure what this has to do with my comment about not all "truths" being interconnected.
