What happened to MTV?

When I saw the title of this thread " What happened to MTV " I was sort of hoping you meant it was off the air, I've had MTV and all the other music channels (country music too) locked out of my satellite system for so long I forgot they even existed, what a bunch of worldy, mindless garbage it is.
Nothing on any music channel is for God and a lot of it is against the Lord, How can you watch it?

You are SO lucky, my wife accidentally unlocked our satellite system and we ended up on that channel for a few seconds and a group was on there MOCKING Jesus Christ openly, It is a horrible channel and how anyone claiming to be a Christian can watch it is beyond my comprehension.

i mean once in a while, it's cool. but how many times can see you the same videos? once every few days?

Good point. I usually watch VH1 Classic when there's nothing else on TV. Also, they play alot of good videos that I haven't seen in years.

MTV2 isn't even all music videos now, they're starting to do reality shows and whatnot too.

Can I ask what satellite system you have? Anyway, you say nothing on any music channel is for God - you are wrong. Sky Angel DBS satellite carries TVU, Spirit, Gospel Music Television and Worship, all music televisin channels and ALL Christian. If you have DISH, then all you need is a second dish to get Sky Angel, if you have Directv, all you have to do is get a DISH system for Sky Angel. Remember, even though you block out MTV, they are still getting .50 every month from your subscription to that service.

I can't stand MTV. Same ten videos over and over and over. Fuse is much better, I think. All channels are going to have something on there you don't approve of.

Hey Savvy, do you know that FUSE is anti-God? They have to be, if you are not "for him", you're against him". So, they are not for him we know, so that means they are against God and you like their channel? Even all you that watch and like MTV, it goes against you being Christian. Now, TVU and Spirit, are "For God" totally a Christian video channel. So, you make your choice. Try TVU and Spirit on Sky Angel, you don't have to give up your other channels if you don't want, unlike cell phones or internet providers, you can have Sky Angel and cable or satellite, if you want.

It's hard for me to believe that after 8 years of being on the air (Sky Angel that is), there's still no one talking about it. WAKE UP!

I have Dish network, in fact I have a lifetime subscription to Sky Angel, I got it when they first started for a $300.00 donation.
I was referring to secular music video stations.

When I take my kid and the neighbor kids across town to see KJ52, Switch Foot, Kutless and Pillar, they think I rule.

Oh, I guess I just would have figured that you might have mentioned TVU or Spirit somewhere. I'm amazed how no one ever does.
