I did some more research on Bakker. His church's website has a link to Open Door Community Church. If you go there you'll see the gay pastor embracing his lover. Need I say more?

While I don't "jive" with Bakker Jr's dealings and understanding of homosexuality, I totally agree with his comments about Christianity in the US and being "co opted" by one particular political party.

On say the subject of gay marriage, IMO until the church in the US can get it's divorce rate under control (its above the national average) we have no business pointing fingers and lecturing people on what marriage should and shouldn't be as we ourselves can't even live it out............you know that whole log in your eye vs. the speck of sawdust in your brothers.

Christians should be able to look past their differences and agree to disagree.

Something we as Christians (or at lease Baptists on this forum) don't do well for the most part..........

What happened to Christianity??? We stoped reading and trusting the bible. We also forgot that God is in charge, we are not.

We need to handle it all to Him!
So that He can work miracles in our lives!
