  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

what exactly do you Know... about evolution???

lol i think its funny that people don't want to beleive that all of the dating that goes on with fossils and rocks are wrong, The c14 and radio dating has been proven that it works, but people still want to say that they can't be trusted well thats jus crazy.

I feel that people that don't want to understand anything about evolution, and just want to say that it doens't exist shouldn't be talking about it. Alot of the people that say that evolution can't happen also probably said that we would never walk on the moon, and travel in space. If people don't understand science and physics and THE LAWS OF PHYSICS+NATURE shouldn't be saying that stuff can't happen.

Anything can happen, with enough time human's can do anything, and evolution is the same way. But what do i know right, to alot of people i am still a kid in college so how can i know about this. Well i have studied evolution, and i am studing to be a physicist.

The people that don't believe in evolution, i have one thing to said you. HOW did the we go from bikes in the early 1890-1900 to cars and planes, well we evoled to get smart enough to make these things.

Easy. They evolved. You can tell because they occur in geochronological order from simpler to more complex.

WHAT!?!? You're saying bikes, cars and planes had intelligent creators!?! Criminy, what a religious fanatic.

seeing how the first sell was formed by a lot of chemicals mixingand then the cell splits into two cells and then the two cells splits into more and more thats how evolution got started.

Whoa, nellie. You go from chemicals to the first cell. It's a leap of greater than astronomic proportions to go from chemicals to protein, let alone first cell.

well then... so you have a bunch of bones in the ground... dated by flawed... very flawed proceedures... with no transitional forms... and when someone finds something that could/maybe/hopefully be a 'transition' they jump all over it... well one might think..."aren't there suppose to be 10 times more transitions between the taxas" Come on... you've got to have an answer... logically... they've got to be there. You've got a 'history' in the earth showing a apparently instant change from simple bacterias to complex animals....

(as paleontologist Niles Eldredge said). , "Indeed, the sudden appearance of a varied, well-preserved array of fossils, ... does pose a fascinating intellectual challenge." These include more than 5000 species, including sponges, jellyfish, corals, worms, mollusks, trilobites, and crustaceans”

You've got the most advanced laboratories in the world and can still not create the simplest living organism... with perfect conditions...(remember... you have all of the elements that the 'early earth' did... with no laboratory right??)

you can't possilbly think that everything out there... the Universe... and the proposed possibility of other Universes... simply poofed into existence. You say that the particles/elements/laws that were there formed into what we have today...??? Well, how bout this... where did the laws come from... where did the expance of space come from... where did the elements ( or their predecesors) come from...

and you ask... where did God come from... and I say to you... HE IS

and I believe...

and bear... lets be friends

And after the big bang, stars formed, and soon after that the planets were formed, but it didn't look like it does know. It was a hot planet, with vocanos going off like every second. and after a while enough gases were mixed it started to rain and cooled down the earth then it lead the the first cell being made. IF you don't agree with what i am saying ok, But don't say i don't know what i am talking about. I have studied this and am doing it now.
