What a novel statement

dont need a pope.. We have the high priest. Jesus is His name.
We have the Father and we have the HS, so we are good without a pope.
I myself have been doing ok w/o one for awhile, at least so far.........

How is it false? In the end, it amounts to you assuming a kind of moral relativism to rhetorically reconfigure "murder" so that it means "warfare," which permits you to justify extreme action against those with whom you have theological quibbles. No amount of crypticism is going to cover that up.

But do Protestans call her the "Queen of Heaven" "Co redemreix" and do they pray to her for intercession?Didnt think so

No, protestants don't even call the Blessed Mother 'blessed' as the Sacred Scriptures say all generations will do.

Strange for a group of people who claim to hold the bible in such high esteem.

No. False because the person I was responding to did not read all of my posts and so didn't really know what I was talking about. And I would not justify that kind of action today, since it's not mandatory to be Catholic anymore.

This has to be the weakest argument I have ever heard. Oh im sorry i didnt realize praying a rosary and bowing to statue of her is consiered calling her blessed. Protestants do CALL HER BLESSED. They dont stress on importance on her as much as Jesus. Sorry truth hurts.

Because of the desire to replace the nation of Israel as the people of God Rc promoted the allegorical hermeneutic. Terrible - led to the dark age

Please explain what you mean by "dark age." I hope it does not mean that it was dark because there wasn't any Protestantism.

It would've been better to be a Muslim than a Rc because they took baths.

That sounds like playground humor.

Pretty fair assessment.

"Dark ages" is a very outmoded and highly prejudicial name for the period between the fall of the city of Rome until the reintroduction of Greek and other learning in the Catholic cultures of southern Europe. "Middle ages" is the more common and more useful term.

Uh huh. It must be nice to think you don't have to defend the statements you make.

Yea just having fun. At least I don't think the old burnin alive stuff was a good thing. Or the rack brother tazomo? How about the ..... Iron maiden? Or it was against the law to take a bath in the 6th century by decree of the pope lol - name of the rose - favorite movie.

Not true. Even the PC types who don't like the term "Dark Ages" know that the Dark Ages and the Middle Ages don't refer to the same time period.

Oh, the dark ages. That refers to the entire period of time when Catholicism ruled the world circa 400 - 1700s? Dark = Catholic Reign (in my theology)

No, it isn't, and to suggest it is would be a violation of point 3 under Flaming and Harassment hereat CF.
