Well my name Butterfly4Christ has two meanings to me.

First of all before I was saved I loved butterflies I even had one tattoted on me :sigh: and I collect anything with butterflies on it, but besides that when I became saved my love for butterflies didn't go away and one day my pastor suggested I do a little research on them and see if I could gain any spiritul insight from them. So I did and I learned that a butterfly starts their life out as one thing (a catapillar) and then after a process they are "reborn" into something else (a beautiful butterfly :) )so I thought that was so fitting of me becoming saved and living my life for Christ so hence the name Butterfly4Christ! I am a new creation living for my Lord and Savior! :clap: 2Cor 5:17

I've had this sn forever, on IM and different forums. But I picked it because I'm going into art, but not exactly the Disney kind of art. I'd doodle stuff, and people would tell me how wierd and kinda scary it was. So I came up with TwistedSketch.

Of course since then, I read "Johnny the Homicidal Maniac" and I don't feel so twisted anymore :sigh:

I took the meaning of my first and middle names...

Gregory = Watchman
Scott = "From Scotland", "Highlander" (from the Highlands)

I was going to have "Watchman from the Highlands", as I usually do, and what is the actual order of my name, but there was not enough space in the forum box, and simply "Watchman" was already taken, so I switched it around to "Highland Watchman"...

Revelation 12:12 - Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.

This verse had speacal meaning to me it is saying that only those in Heaven are safe, and we people of the Earth need to watch ourselves because Satan is in charge here and ruling the forces that are conspiring against us.

I use this screen name on almost all my log ins hoping it will inspire people to say... " I wonder whta that verse is" and they will go and read it.

My real name is a derivative of "Laurel Crowned." Back in the days of the original Olympics laurel crowns were awarded to the winners. Scripture also says "Blessed is he who perseveres, for when he has stood the test, he will a receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him." I have bipolar disorder and my life has been one long struggle but through the grace of God I have been able to persevere. When I am weak he is my strength. He challenges me to "forget what is behind" so that I can move forward in his name and win the prize that is worth more than money, fame, or possesions.

I have failed at many things in my life... but in Jesus' name I keep trying. In his eyes, I am Laurel Crowned.

Several years ago (1997), i regularly posted on a different forums website (korealink, which as far as i know is now either defunct or completely changed). My "name" on there was hayahnyuhja, which is two korean words put together. Of course, as you can expect, nobody could really spell it correctly. And who'd really wanna try to type it? Most of the regulars on there started calling me just plain ol' haya, and I liked it, so I kept it.
I've been haya ever since.

mixiejoeusa........It all started when I first got my computer and I needed a screen name, and there were so many Jessica's, that I wanted to be original. My friends and i were talking and they said because I tend to say things in a southern manner, at times it should sound southern(even though I have lived in IL 30 min from Chicago..all my life). so my friend came up with mixiejoe....and then I added usa when I had used mixiejoe at yaoo already. It works because I don't have a hard time with the name...mixiejoeusa...I am usually the only one.

I love the moon and moonlight. Very pretty stuff...a lovely moonlit night. But "moonlight" seemed too boring so of course I resorted to Spanish. And in Spanish, "luna" means moon and "linda" means beautiful. So to say "beautiful moon" would be "luna linda." Why is it backwards? Well, unlike the adjectives in the English language, adjectives come AFTER the noun in Spanish. So to say "linda luna" is technically incorrect Spanish grammar.

So...now the final product is "luna linda" = "Beautiful Moon." I obviously squished the two spanish words together cuz I'm generally not fond of having a space in my usernames. So luna was squished with linda and voila. Oh and uh...well...coincidentally enough, my real name is Linda as well. So it kinda fit, what with my liking of the moon and all that. :cool:
