You do not know what a scam is? Look it up in the dictionary.Huh?
It's that your comment about polling being a "scam" to sell papers makes no sense. You do not know what a scam is? Look it up in the dictionary.
Paul Harvey talks about how bad news sells. Willian Hurst was accused of promoting McCarthyism. If you do not think newspapers and news agencies have an agenda they try to promote. Then I have some prime real estate in Florida that I can give you a great price on.It's that your comment about polling being a "scam" to sell papers makes no sense.
They are both based on Knowledge. We worship God because we acknowledge Him for who He is. When we realize how mighty, wonderful, and awesome God is, we cannot help but worship Him.I don't see any connection between worship and science.
“He sits enthroned above the circle of the earth, and its people are like grasshoppers. He stretches out the heavens like a canopy, and spreads them out like a tent to live in.”Nothing
That was not the point of my post. Regardless, there is also the knowledge of hell. When we realize how Mighty and Just God is, we start fearing Him.They are both based on Knowledge. We worship God because we acknowledge Him for who He is. When we realize how mighty, wonderful, and awesome God is, we cannot help but worship Him.
Romans 1:20 talks about how we can know God through His Creation. So that people are without excuse. Evolution goes a long way toward showing us how God does what He does. I know that theistic evolution leaves a lot to be desired, but it is not without merit. People have to study the Bible and Science. Far too often they learn one or the other, but not both. History also goes a long way to help us understand the Bible. That was not the point of my post.

Really, you cannot put that together yourself. Or is this just another one of your homework assignments? It looks like you are the one running the scam here. You still haven't said what "polling" and "scams" have to do with selling papers.
It's no wonder why I can't follow what you were talking about, because in response to your claim that polling was "a science" to which I noted it was a TOOL (and not one used in the science covered by this board), you apparently switch your thinking to newspaper opinion polls which had nothing to do with the topic at had.Really, you cannot put that together yourself. I will let the chatbot answer this for you.
It is important to note that not all polling related to newspapers or news articles is legitimate or reliable. There have been instances of fake or misleading polls being used by news organizations to generate clicks and page views, or to manipulate public opinion on certain issues. Therefore, it is important to carefully evaluate the source and methodology of any poll or survey related to newspapers or news articles before relying on its results.
You still do not understand? It's no wonder why I can't follow what you were talking about
You still do not understand?
The verse has nothing to do with the scientific method and has nothing to do with the topic.“He sits enthroned above the circle of the earth, and its people are like grasshoppers. He stretches out the heavens like a canopy, and spreads them out like a tent to live in.”
Isaiah 40:22 NIV
The point is maybe I am kicking a dead horse. Even if you believe that Science proves the Bible is true. That still is not faith in God. Without faith it is impossible to please God. I use science to better understand the Bible. Maybe that approach is not for everyone. But a lot of Churches require people to have a degree in Science before they can go to Seminary and get a degree in Religious studies.I don't know why you are changing the topic of your own thread.
Probably. The point is maybe I am kicking a dead horse.
So long as you understand that this describes you, and not necessarily others. (Certainly not me.)Even if you believe that Science proves the Bible is true. That still is not faith in God.
This is theology.Without faith it is impossible to please God. I use science to better understand the Bible. Maybe that approach is not for everyone.
You have made this claim before. Can you give me even *ONE* church that operates this way? Can you start with a denominational seminary that has a science degree as an entrance requirement? But a lot of Churches require people to have a degree in Science before they can go to Seminary and get a degree in Religious studies.
Ok, thanks for letting me know. No reason to keep wasting time on a lost cause.Probably.
Episcopal, Methodist, Pilgram. United Church of Christ. The churches I have been a part of. I know there are plenty of pastors with two-year degrees. But they are not mainline denominations. If you are sick do you go to a doctor or do you just find a medical assistant to help you? The pastor in my Pilgrim church did not really even accept Creationism. It just did not line up with Science. At least a lot of the popular books at the so-called Christian book store. I went through one of those bookstores while I was waiting for my wife when she was shopping. I could not find much of anything in a book that reflected the Bible. The only one I could find was a woman called Stormie. Can you give me even *ONE* church that operates this way?
Ok, thanks for letting me know. No reason to keep wasting time on a lost cause.
