Actually when I posted I did answer your question inadvertently when I answered your OP.

You didnt post ALL of the events. You stopped at verse 27. You needed to go to verse 32

Read Luke 21:27 to Luke 21:32

27 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.

28 And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.

29 And he spake to them a parable; Behold the fig tree, and all the trees;

30 When they now shoot forth, ye see and know of your own selves that summer is now nigh at hand.

31 So likewise ye, when ye see these things come to pass, know ye that the kingdom of God is nigh at hand.

32 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass away, till all be fulfilled.

This is indeed talking about Jerusalem and the temples destruction. Compare to Matthew 24, just like I mentioned before in my previous post a while back.

In Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John, any reference to the "kingdom" was used as a future tense verbiage. Everything Acts 2 and after is present/past tense verbiage.

Mark 1:15 (future tense)
Colossians 1:13 (present/past tense)

Unless you wish to say there are 2,000 year old people walking about...
