What does it mean when you keep crossing paths with someone...?

There is a certain person who for about three years has kept appearing in my life in the weirdest coincidences. I can't help but wonder if God has a hand in it, like maybe He wants me to share the gospel with them? I see this person cross my path in the weirdest ways. It's not even funny.

I started seeing them when I asked God to send me someone to tell about Him. Ever since then, it doesn't matter what happens--they keep appearing. I'm not being paranoid, either.

I got hired at a job where they are working (which also happened in a weird way, really suddenly) and now I have to quit because I have been sick with autoimmune issues and now I fear I will never have a chance to talk to them anymore. I was too scared.

But on Christmas (a few weeks ago) I saw the person at the gas station while my dad was there getting some things before we went to a relatives house. How crazy is that? Does God work this way? Or is it my imagination?

I wonder if the reason I got sick and had to quit is because Satan is trying to stop me from talking to them.

on how many times I've seen them before...we
usually laugh and get into chatting about what
our interests and or hobbies are...which is when
I toss in something about the latest movie I saw
or what I'm reading etc.

Sometimes things go good and that's what I treasure.

It certainly could be of God to have you tell them about the Savior. Can you at least tell them to "look up, for God cares"? One can always refer them to John 3:16 if they show any interest in godly things. Any reference may open a door to speak further about the Lord Jesus, if you already know Him yourself. If anyone will take the time to read John 14 they may hear God speaking to them.

God is sovereign so it is no accident that you keep meeting this person.

The bible speaks much of God's sovereignty but it never mentions luck or coincidence!

Yes, God can work that way. Go to Him and ask Him if it's Him and if it is Him what does He want you to do.
