It means that you must obey God and do what he says. If you do that then you are bearing fruit and making the world a better place.
Being cut off means that you will be rejected by God and will be sent to hell. We must obey God to show true faith and if we don't then we won't be saved. Jesus knows his true followers by how they live and follow his teachings, simply claiming you believe but disobeying is false faith and Jesus won't recognize the individual as one of his sheep.
No, the fruits of the Faith are LOVE, not trying not to sin according to a set of rules. It means that you must obey God and do what he says.
“If you love me, you will keep my commandments. (John 14:15)No, the fruits of the Faith are LOVE, not trying not to sin according to a set of rules.
Love is the Law of Christ.
Humility is a premise and a fruit.
Allright, i shouldn't have started my comment with "No,", but with "Hmmm, well,".“If you love me, you will keep my commandments. (John 14:15)

So true Christians don't sin?
If that is so, then confession, among other things, is pointless.
Plus, it is not our obedience, but the Holy Spirit's obedience. We are not granted salvation because of our obedience, but if we are being saved then the Holy Spirit will lead us to become more and more like God.
