I will also add that I am trying to quit drinking soda...I drink about a six pack a day of Pepsi, wildcherry pepsi or Dr. pepper. my new thing is vanilla coke...I do not like the diet sodas and I am trying to stop the soda altogether since I consume WAY too much! since trying to quit (big sigh), all I am left with is a nagging headache and a bad case of irritability...I will consider doing this slowly instead of cold turkey. I think I am hooked on sugar AND caffeine! UGH!

God is a God of love and no respector of persons. God has no favorites as we humans tend to think. We have favorites but God does not operate this way.

He loves no one more than He loves me or you. He paid no greater price for them than he paid for me. That is why when friends let us down, and we run to God, we find Him the same as always.

Ooooo soda gushers....mmmmmmmm!!!!!!!1 I like it!

Amie...I too tried to totally cut soda out of my drinking. I dropped it, drank nothing but water and juice. For about a week until I got such a migraine that the only thing that cured it was drinking some Pepsi. So instead I cut back. I buy cans now instead of bottles so I don't just pour some into a glass. I bring cans with me to work instead of buying 20 oz. bottles of soda. And I also try to drink more water to keep from opening those cans of soda I bring. And at home I try to drink other stuff like Crystal Light or water or tea or coffee or something. But I SO know what you mean about dropping soda cold turkey! It was the WORST thing I ever did!

I took my 4 year old daughter to the beach today by the lake. She was hyper-excited about her new inflatable swim tube floaty thing. The lifeguard blew her whistle on her and said "no inflatable toys that could pop in the water". Whaaaaat???? OK, whatever--I mean, what's gonna happen? The toy might pop, and then I might be some kind of irresponsible parent and let the toy sink to the bottom. Then some rare endangered fish might nibble on the sunken toy and get a piece of it lodged in its throat. It would then die, upsetting the eccological balance of the entire earth. OK, I'm just being a little sarcastic, aren't I. Oh wait a second, what about ALL THOSE INFLATABE BEACH BALLS in the water? How come they're OK to play with but not little inflatable fish?????

*end rant*
