Ok...we had a little situation about a month ago. I thought things had been settled but...apparently not.

A good friend of mine was having a rough time....her little brother had really bad burn scar on his face from when he was young. His classmates teased him mercilessly about it and after 12 years of it he could take it anymore. He got ahold of a gun (We still dont know how) and...blew his teeth through the back of his head.

My friend was the one that found him and that was bad. But thier mother...shes...unique. Thier father was a little eccentric (By eccentric I mean he wore his underwear on his head and thought that the silverware would electrocute him) so as a result, his wife is a little....neurotic. Shes very very demanding, very passive-agressive. He died about 4 years ago. She comes off as an ice-queen and..quite frankly she is.

She blamed my friend for her brother killing himself, she said she probably gave him the gun. So ontop of comming into her room and finding her brother dead...she has her mother blaming her for it.

We got most of everything worked out over about a month of counseling but her mother found a box of her husband's stuff about two weeks ago and snapped. Shes going around screaming at my friend about the whole thing.

So what do you think should be done, I already have a...plan worked out but...Im curious as to what you think should be done

I know it is hard to loose someone, life is something that when taken is irreplacable.

However what would I do?

Well I would pray that the mother will stop condeming her daughter for a crime she did not commit. I would pray also for everyone involved and especcially that the classmates would realise what their taunting led someone to.

I believe that this is a situation far too complex for man to handle, if the law is involved there can't be any good made from it because suicide is such that the victim is also the villian.


Now, I understand that you are pagan but I know what great things God can and has done through my prayers and so I shall offer my prayers for I know that it is through prayer that the greatest things are accomplished.

I'm so sorry to hear this , what a tragedy, the family needs alot of prayers, I hope the sister can fine peace through all this, thank you for being a good friend to her. Maybe things will settle down with the mom but shes going through alot of emotions, I hope everyone in that family will seek out good counselors, God bless.

She sure has one caring friend Helo.
This sounds like a very complicated situation, bcause there are other issues here besides the truamatic loss of her little brother. Seems that the parents need to work with their own personal issues bfore they can even deal with such a tragic & violent loss Countinued counciling would be a must I would think, bcause family trauma like this doesn't happen overnite & rarely is solved that quickly.

I would tell your friend not to do anything rash, but think through what would help her have some peace & time away from such a stressful & painful enviroment.
Like does she have friends or relatives that she could stay with for awhile? Is she involved in or know of any church that she feels comfortable looking for support in?...
Not sure what her beliefs are though, but Jesus did tell us that He came to bind up the brokenhearted & I KNOW beyond a shadow of a doubt that He grieves rite along with your friend for such a loss. Helo may your friend truely find the peace she & her family so desperately need

I don't know what to say about that strange of a situation. Other than maybe it's time for your friend to move out? (assuming she's the same age as you)
