What do you think people look for in an ideal life partner (Part 2)

Third: cheeriness, longanimity and patience to one help out the other to be better person. The aim of the marriage is to urge the couple to give in to Jesus their life so that He can use them to make them a godly seed (Malachi 3.15).

Fourth: to have good character, that is, good feelings and thoughts (1Cor 1.10; Philippians 4.2; 2Cor 13.11). Everything in the life depends on concepts and values, that is, the way that we see and figure out the things (Luke 8.18). The success of marriage calls for the full agreement between husband and wife in Christ Jesus (see Matthew 18.18-20).

The linchpin of a successful marriage is for both to share the same morality. After that, either can come from differing financial, race, even political backgrounds, and IQ difference.

Instead of "same morality" I prefer to say "the same faith and intimacy with Jesus Christ".

For me, its a partner who is more than willing to share their bowl with no growling or showing of their teeth.
