What do you think about Pentecostals?
I think that they are mentally insane and need to seek psychiatric aide.
They go around uttering a few "hobidy bobidy boos" and they think that God is talking through them.

This is why the church is so divided.
Yes, because Pentecostals have broken off into a heretical sect.
Can I ask what denomination are you from, or was raised in?
The one holy catholic and apostolic Church; the same as the Nicene Creed states.
Don't miss read this the wrong way. BECAUSE I LOVE CATHOLICS. You guys are my brothers and sisters in the faith. I have catholic family members and friends. But answer this for me
Are there any heretic teachings in your denomination?
I am a confirmed Catholic but I actually attend a Lutheran Church now. Lutherans are simply reformed Catholics.
To answer your question no I do not believe there are any heretical teachings in my denomination. That was the purpose of the reformation; to correct those errors.
Pentecostals simply went off the deep end into heretical waters concerning the gifts of the Spirit.

You do know that there are a fair number of Charismatic Catholics in the world right? I haven't heard of Rome anathematizing ecstatic prayer languages. As a matter of fact I met a Jesuit Priest that taught in the Charismatic Catholic circles for years. You have to be the first I've seen to call them heretics.
Grace and peace,
Mark
Wow, a confirmed Catholic that goes to a Lutheran Church and says there is nothing heretical in any denominations except Pentecostals...
Does one who neglect the teaching of the Sacred Magisterium and the Holy Councils get to decide who are heretics and who are not?
You're right, we do have Charismatics in the Catholic Church and the Magisterium has not only not condemned this movement, but rather blessed it though with reservation.
Or Catholics playing coy about believing that Grace through Faith merely permits them to earn their own way to salvation by Works?I've known for some time that Rome believed in justification by grace through faith. Just some reservations about the addition by Protestants of a single word, 'alone'.

I was brought up in the military and ended up spending middle-high school in the state of Michigan. My mother made me go to a Baptist church that had to be the deadest place on the planet. I would look out the sunday school window onto the frozen Michigan tundra and wonder what was deader... The Michigan tundra or the building I was in!
I was more that relieved to move here to Virginia to a spiritual warm place. I worked the hay fields with people who would shout of the job, shout out in the hay field, and shout in church! There was community there like Mayberry, love like the Waltons, and Pentecost like the book of acts.
There are times when the people would speak in tongues and it sounded like gibberish.
I have some reservations myself, as does the Lutheran church from what I understand. That doesn't make them heretics. BTW, love the signature, I've known for some time that Rome believed in justification by grace through faith. Just some reservations about the addition by Protestants of a single word, 'alone'.

I assume you consider them all to be "insane" also?????
