Some find it to be distasteful, but I think it's okay if done in moderation and not done every church service. In the bible, flags and banners were used during times of warfare and as proclamation and in the bible (OT and NT) the colors used each represented something. My church does it from time to time, however, I did not truly understand where it came from until I beginning listening to Shekinah Glory Ministry (gospel group) and visited their website. After learning that it's and old form of worship that's just being brought back, I really began to take an interest in it and when it's appropriate and when it isnt. What colors should be used based on the song, plus it really is quite beautiful :amen:. Question: Does your church do it? Has your church ever done it? How do you feel about it? Explain.
