I think he is asking in the right place if he wants people to re affirm that the only thing that matters is his established beliefs.

I don't think he will get much support or encouragement to read the word and find the answers he is looking for there.

My take on the thread that it is a good start for the OP to try to begin to understand, what the word "Scripture" says. As Tiger says that "if" he wants to reaffim his traditions he has gone to the right place. But, the question has been asked in the OP and the OP may read the answers given.

So that leaves us to pray that he will be led into all truth. And that he will take the advice to pray and read through Romans. Only the Spirit of God will convince him of the truth!!
