CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

What's amazing is that over in the UT, we've been having a debate over this very concept with the JW's and this other guy who practically worships the JW's but refuses to become one
scratch: ). There's another Calvinist who hold to this very theory. I find it fascinating actually. It's rather hard to deal with though, but if you really sit and think about it, it makes sense, even if you hate the "idea" of it. But who are we to say God can't do whatever He wants and use whatever means He chooses???

Here is another page that I have stumbled over at least twice in the last few days , and for completely different reasons.....read it very carefully and bare in mind words like "wonderful" have got a slightly different meaning today.....Beza most probably meant "Awesome".....Imblessed said:Whoa!
