What do you like to bake?

Judging from [thread=6174335]this thread[/thread] I would say that we have a few people here who do some baking.

What do you like to bake?

I like to bake pumpkin muffins. I have not done it in a long time, though.

And I used to bake the best mint brownies. Alas, I have not seen the ingredient that made it possible, Nestle's Mint Chocolate Morsels, in stores for several years now.

Scones. Lemon and orange and dried cherry vanilla chip - mmm (yes, that's three different kinds - not all lumped together!).

Divinity. Especially mint.

Gingersnaps.

Lemon bars.

Blondies.

Coconut macaroons.

i haven't baked anything in years but i used to love baking with someone else and eating whatever was left in the bowl, especially brownie mix. MMMMM!

I like to make banana loaf, I also like chocolate cake, but stick to banana loaf as it is healthier. I must learn how to make carrot cake one of these days.

Cupcakes and scones. I want to do big cakes, biscuits and pies too.

I have a craving for blueberry pie even more than Zippy's craving for a kruller.

I have various varieties of brownies I like to make...I think the raspberry ones are my favorite at the moment. I also do sugar cookies on occasion. My grandma makes the best apple pie, but mine never turns out quite like hers.

I bake lots of stuff. My most frequent thing is banana bread, my roommates love when I make it. Just a couple of days ago I made pineapple upside down cake. I'll often make cookies and different types of pies, I love rhubarb.

I have not been able to try this recipe (I am talking about the first one--the Strawberry Pecan Cookies, not the Strawberry Jam Bars). But--finally a recipe for true strawberry cookies (not some other kind of cookies with strawberry jam). And it does not call for lemon juice!

Maybe you can try it.

These look good! I'd be interested in trying them without the pecans (I don't like nuts). You're right, there aren't alot of cookies with strawberries. Thanks!!!
