What do you like about being single?

Nothing. I cook for my two kids and my mom so one more isn't a problem. Same with laundry. Last month I had an extremely uncomfortable feeling of being very tired of dating and wanted to be able to stay home with a husband and my kids.

I'm ready to be married to the right one for me!

what I love about being single?

not having to make compromises, being able to see my friends all the time, participating in (my own) spontaneous ideas, not having to wait with dinner, having bad moods and not having to explain why, not having to justify how to spend my money or not having to argue when I'm home late again, going out with whomever I want (friends, new people, just two of us,...), not having guilty conscience when I don't have time for anybody, and all the rest of it, yada-yada-yada,...

i can work weird hours without upsetting anyone

i can go to bed as early or late as i want

i can go without supper if i want to---this one is a biggie because i work with a lady whose husband calls EVERY DAY sometimes more than once to ask her 1) what's for dinner 2) what time will she get home. I guess I view that as being on a short leash. ugh!!!

Wow, that's one heckuva long work day, HC! Today I had a long day at work. So I am glad to be able to be messy at home and not have anyone care -- at least for a short while. I don't enjoy messiness, but it sure is convenient every now 'n' then!

Other things I like about being single. Well, not having to deal with those vexing interpersonal issues that sometimes pop up in relationships! Sometimes my insecurities have come out in relationship. Isn't that too bad, given that I really do know that God knows me inside and out, and yet loves me all the same? But having someone physical right in front of you whose actions lead you to doubt yourself from time to time ... that happens too.

This ones hard for me because I was happily married for almost 15 years. I will continue to think about it though.

What I like about being single......hmmm..... well just coming and going when I want to. Not have to be concerned about doing for someone else, like cooking or cleaning. Not trying to be overly concerned about the way I look. Those are all good things about being single, but yeah I would trade it in for the right one baby!!.
