Righteous anger? "you turn the house of G-d into a den of thieves."
At this, they picked up stones to stone him, but Jesus hid himself, slipping away from the temple grounds." (John 8:59)
H-s time had not yet come.
"Sell everything you have and give to the poor" (Luke 18:22)
He knew that the rich young man wouldn't....."you cannot serve 2 masters. G-d and Money"
"But anyone who says, 'You fool!' will be in danger of the fire of hell." (Matthew 5:22)
"You blind fools!" (Matthew 23:17)
Judgement belongs only to G-d.
thou shalt smite them, and utterly destroy them; thou shalt make no covenant with them, nor show mercy unto them. (Deu 7:2)But thus shall ye deal with them; ye shall destroy their altars, and break down their images, and cut down their groves, and burn their graven images with fire. (Deu 7:5)
Conside whom it was dealing with and the OT and NT. See the thread on the Nephilim. Might have an answer there for you.
But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea. (Mat 18:6)
Was this concerning harm to children?

You'll get better insight here from those more knowledgable than myself but I thought I give it a go. ;o>

What do you think He, Yeshua will do to all who don't Obey His Father in Heaven. He is going to RULE with an IRON ROD.
"I tell you, my friends, do not be afraid of those who kill the body and after that can do no more." (Luke 12:4)
"At this, they picked up stones to stone him, but Jesus hid himself, slipping away from the temple grounds." (John 8:59)
As stated above, NOT HIS TIME OF PAYING FOR US ALL
"Sell everything you have and give to the poor" (Luke 18:22)
Rather than sell some expensive perfume to help the poor, Jesus wasted it on himself, saying, "You will have the poor with you always." (Mark 14:3-7)
Wasn't Judas an evil person? Yes, He was a greedy man and he is the one who mentions about the oil poured on Yeshua. The woman that done that SERVICE to Her Appointed KING of Kings has found her Pearl of Great Price.
"But anyone who says, 'You fool!' will be in danger of the fire of hell." (Matthew 5:22)
"You blind fools!" (Matthew 23:17)
Mat 5:22 HNV (22) But I tell you, that everyone who is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment; and whoever shall say to his brother, 'You good-for-nothing!' shall be in danger of the council; and whoever shall say, 'You fool!' shall be in danger of the fire of Gehinnom.

Shabbat Shalom,

MMMMMMMMMMMM (Koilias licks his chops)....Extremely provocative! Gotta hand it to you brother Monk, no one has ever forced me to do a double take on this sage Yeshua. Thanks for bringing these wonderful examples up...Maybe I can reconsider if Yeshua really was intending all the things he said...Maybe he was just another inconsistent Pharisee. Loved to be heard, but didn't practice what he preached. Good one, Warrior Monk, good one! I haven't been challenged like this in ages!....So, ok, let's roll up our sleeves here a minute. Let's lay our Christian prejudices and knee-jerk feelings aside for a minute, and think this through like Rabbis.

Let's not be lazey, my MJ bruthas and sistas...I'm amazed by the almost utter silence  out there in responce to Mr. Monk's tantalizing goad. Just three of us so far with guts and ability to respond???

Yeshua wants us to defend righteousness in all cases. Do not resist an evil person, but who has a right to get away with the evil!?! Challenge the evil by all means! "Love your enemy" sometimes means doing some "good" to him. You can love him with service, receive his blows, but if that does NOT change him, then pop open a good can of whoop....

Yeshua was no peacenik or Ghandi. So,

Consistent: Yes (so far).

Maybe getting killed by stones was too easy. Maybe it would not show how much he really loved us. Maybe he wanted to prove that the sighted can not see him, but the blind will.

Sounds like he had real guts in all cases.

Consistent: Can't be determined, since we don't know what he was thinking or feeling in John 8:58.

The latter does not abrogate the former. What you give to the poor will be rewarded to you in heaven. What the poor themselves give the king, will make them stewards of all his riches in heaven. (This was done in Bethany, Beit ha'Ani, in the "House of the Poor").

Consistent: Most clearly, Yes.

Calling someone a "fool" makes you liable of murder before the heavenly court, for calling someone a "fool" may encourage someone to murder that person. The heavenly court holds you liable for one word.

In the latter case, the heavenly court ruled, for to swear by the heavenly court, means that you are liable for every word you do not keep. (Read the rest of Matthew 23:17ff). If one word can condemn you how much more more than one!!

Consistent: Yes (so far...please, please, come up with some more).
