You don't believe people could have an apparition of Jesus?

I believe he claimed that there would be an appearance of Jesus in Ghana or nigeria..... There is no footage and surpsingly no one to back up his claim

the man also prohesided that Field Castro would die in the 1990s and he was still around in 2003

Please folks. I beg of you not to speak such condemning things over a brother of ours who is currently reaching so many people with the Gospel of Christ.

I certainly do not agree with every jot and tittle Benny has ever uttered, but he is preaching the Good News to millions of people that God has not put into my path, so until He does I'm just tickled that the basic foundational truth of Jesus is being proclaimed.

He is saying that Jesus would start to appear, i would say this means apparitions.

I believe people can have apparitions of Jesus.

BH is the opposite pole of what I believe is a proper biblical style of ministry but I have always appreciated his honesty in admitting theological errors when he has been confronted as he did in his original views of the Trinity in the first edition of Good Morning, Holy Spirit and in his apparent disassociation from many of the teachings of the Word-Faith movement (Contending Earnestly for the Faith, October 1999). Benny is an evangelist, not a theologian, and is learning, I think, to steer clear of tricky theological statements and stick to what he does best (and, of course, there is a wide divergence of opinion on exactly what that may be, but I’ll leave those judgments to others)

Honestly, though, I really do not like threads like this that name names and focus on individuals. It’s probably best we leave individual judgment up to God.

My brother had one too at a huge praise and worship meeting at a Christian university , people were being overcome by the Spirit and landing on the floor, what some people call slain in the spirit, anyways he had a vision of Jesus there, first He was huge, he just saw His feet in the big auditirium, then he saw Jesus (like life size) walking around in the crowd, He had on a while mantle or cape that was flowing behind Him and wherever he walked, people went down to the floor. He was actually in a stage of great doubt in his walk with God because of an unknown illness and dizziness that required cat scans and many tests. Jesus said, 'i'll take you too Paul' to him in the vision. His name is not Paul, i think Jesus was comparing his unbelief to Paul's. This is not a Pentecostal/Charismatic university either.

So there is one apparition and he does not watch Hinn at all

I have read of Muslims having apparitions and turning to Jesus too

I would agree with you Jim, but i don't like to see people drug down unfairly either. There is a difference between the coming of Jesus and someone seeing an apparition, not the same thing.

So the considering the fact the man teaches hersey is ok, because he brings millions to christ?. Never mind the fact that most of them are spun the "give your life to christ and you'll have peace love, joy" Line, and are neglected to be told that stuff may not happen... If you can find ray comfrot, and hells best kept secret, I urge you to read it, its a really good book

my opinion actually has nothing to do with whether or not you like Benny Hinn, and whether or not you like him, to each his own.

As a follower of Christ, trust the Spirit. do your homework. if something doesnt feel right, check it up in the bible. be cautious, even in the kind of spiritual doctrine you put in your mind because the Word says in the last days there will be false teachers, etc. Speaking from experience, Satan knows how to implement false teachings within the teachings of Truth.

And also you could try to find exactly what was said, and are they still saying the same thing. I am going to get the Good Morning Holy Spirit book to see what exactly was being said about the Trinity. I'm sure it will be interesting as Benny teaches the plain Trinity from what i've read in Welcome Holy Spirit, which specifically states on page 78 that, 'He is Spirit, as apposed to flesh, not having a body; and He is Holy' about the Holy Spirit.

Which leads me to believe that if he did teach that each member of the Trinity has a body, spirit, and soul (as the anti-Hinn sites like to say he teaches) .........that he has changed his mind sometime before 1995, as this is the year of this book i have.

Why is always that when someone Spirit Filled starts drawing attention to his/her ministry, bad publicity somehow just shows up I guess there will always be something that someone does not agree with, I mean they even had a problem with Paul! Not one person on earth is perfect, but thats why our righteousness is in Christ. When God looks at us, He sees Christ, not Hansie, Paul, Benni, Jimmy, Rick but our Saviour!
Maybe we should pray rather than wonder, I mean Satan wants us christians to start doubting our leaders so he can cause havoc in the kingdom of God.

I would pull him to the side and teach him more fully the way of Life. Then I would allow him to repent and I would not still be talking about it twenty years later.

I'm watching BH right now. Thousands of Koreans have just heard about how much Jesus Christ loves them and is offering them salvation and are coming forward to pray and respond to His love. A woman who has been in pain with abdominal cancer has come forward, free of pain. BH announced to the people that he is not the healer...Jesus is healing his people..he has nothing to do with it. God is being praised and worshipped and I'm just thoroughly enjoying His presence while watching this. (While watching this under the covers in my warm bed with no intention of preaching to thousands of people today.) If he needs any correction, I trust God to handle his own. It's none of my bee's wax.

The need for such is not in question..
The question is are those who presume to do it any better than the one they are judging? Are they free from heresy? Do they know all truth and have the right to cast stones?
The need is not in question.. only the qualifications of those who do it.
Seems the only difference here is that those who carry out these purges would not have hesitated to cast that first stone at the invitation of Jesus.
Are THESE the people we want policing our faith??? The ones who have no comprehension or awareness of their own failings and error.
If someone is perfect, then let him judge... if not, take care you judge with a just judgement. If you do not, then you will be subject to the same justice you mete out.

Allow me to make a suggestion.If you can,discern between judging right and wrong or judging persons as Jesus warned against.I havent read any stone throwing either.But on the flip side,yes I do know truth as I have the mind of Christ.He gives the gifts.I graciously accept.I also dont presume to act as though I have all truth as I read here.Lastly respect is an earned right.If one doesnt get respect,perhaps earned it he has not.
