Can anyone explain this to me...I know the UCC is the largest Congregationalist body in the U.S. today but I don't understand what its views are on the sacraments and I have found it very hard to get a straight answer.
I know it only accepts baptism and the Lord's Supper as the two sacraments, but what does it make of these sacraments? Does it hold to a Calvinist view of them? I know the UCC may no longer hold to the traditional Congregationalist view, but I would like to know more about the UCC position and the traditional Congregationalist view (if it is different).
Thanks!
