The Shroud of Turin has already been proven to be a fake that was produced hundreds of years after the death and resurrection of Christ

While it may be an historical curiousity, the Bible says that faith comes through the hearing of God's word, not through historical curiousities.

The shroud is not an integral part of my faith, but I still think it's authentic.

Textile historians have found a strong similarity between the shroud and fragments of cloth produced in the Middle East about 2000 years ago.

My friend is a Pagan and when he came to the church I used to go to, he experienced nothing but warmness and openness. They asked him what he believed and said it was interesting but they didn't believe it themselves. Generally Christians don't believe 'it's right' because it's not Christianity, but not all of them are hostile to it. In fact, many of them are perfectly ok with it though they don't believe it and think it's 'a little strange'.

It seems, Asura, as though you're more interested in debating the issue of God the Christian God, though as opposed to asking real questions. I hope I'm wrong but this is the image you have brought across.

If a Christian, Muslim, Jew, Pagan, Sikh or anything has a problem with what you believe, ignore them. You are an adult and if you don't believe in their God, then why bother on what their God thinks?
