I think the entire situation is brutally sad.
Ishmael was the first male born of Abraham, but, being born of a concubine, that does not entitle him to "sonship" unless the father decided to bestow such a gift upon him. Abraham did not do this. Yet, God did make him into a great nation none the less, but a nation which was and is still a slave to the Law.
Likewise, this just makes me sad.
What do I think about Muslims? They are people, just like everyone else, lost in a world which is full of hatred and darkness, and searching for the Truth. I pray that they find it, every single one of them.
