This thread is really quite boring isn't it? It's odd, because the OP and the members posting in it are anything BUT.

I ate a bowl of Icelandic yogurt with granola in it (if anyone is really that interested.)

My eating habits are pretty boring.. when it comes to food I often eat the same thing over.. and over.. and over.. might be a consequence of my possible autism.. lol.

You just sound like a fussy eater to be honest.

Although, credit where credit is due, you managed to squeeze a Culver's in you the other day. Culver's is that ONE American fast food chain I always plan on going to before I plan a visit to the States, but usually can't be bothered once I'm over there.

There's nothing worse than going into a fast food chain in the States when you have a thick British accent like mine. They 9 times out of 10 get my order wrong, so it's just not worth the hassle unless they have those ordering screens.

It's inexcusable really, because America is the only country in the world that can't see to understand me. It doesn't happen anywhere else in the world, even in countries where HUGE language barriers are a factor. The waiting staff in Japan were flawless.

Fast food gets my order wrong all the time. Can't expect much from minimum wage workers who hate their job. It's the American way to give as little care in those low rung jobs as possible without being fired. Lol.

Not sure if I'm a fussy eater.. I'll pretty much eat anything given to me. With no sense of smell, many otherwise foul things are fine with me. Just that.. when it comes to getting food myself I am not very adventurous.

It's a thoroughly alienating experience I feel. I don't like fast food chains in the States. They're not much better over here, but you at least get the sense that the sales clerk WANTS to be there.

When I used to do powerlifting, I ate the same thing, multiple times a day, day in, day out, without ANY variation at all. I used to try and slide into a lower weight class so I consumed as little salt as possible. So that meant unseasoned chicken and plain white rice all the time.

I'd rather blow my brains out than do that again. My method was flawed anyway, but I WAS only 19 at the time.

As an American.. I do not understand why a low wage worker would want to be there.

It gets worse by the generation too. Lol.

Yeah, I can imagine with the weight lifting.. you get caught in a rigid schedule.
