One would think........Why? They causing trouble again?
I thought they learned their lesson the first time.
Well my services don't come cheap. One would think........
Are you volunteering to take the bag away?
Because, I would owe you one.
Unless you ate them with M&Ms.I'd take them but I don't like them
Had to look up (french) that is a good motto like that, family was big in my family, even though i was an only child. My grandfather kept the garden. My grandmother attended to her flowers. We didn’t get involved with either. Though I helped on occasion with gathering apples for pie making. But it wasn’t a chore. They didn’t believe in that.
That’s a wonderful tribute to your father. Honor is an important quality and I love hearing examples (like the one you’ve shared) where children pay homage to their parents in positive ways.
La famille est tout is my motto.

This wound up in my stomach today.
Grass fed, with a little kerry gold butter and bragg kelp and herbs.
You can't tempt us like this. Not what I last ate but what I'm about to devour.

But if anyone does not provide for his own, and especially for those of his household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.
How did you serve it? KerryGold adds a nice touch. I add a pat to burgers or a little bacon fat in the pan for added flavor.
I ordered a bundle of pork yesterday. Its interesting going through the sections of an animal and selecting cuts of meat. You get a better appreciation of the carcass and what it yields. I did the same with beef a month ago. They were slaughtered upon my request. This reenforces the idea of provision and circle of life to a degree we lack when we’re divorced from the process. I enjoyed it.

I cook this on the grill, i got busy and let cook just a little long, i like med rare. Then pared the meat with a bun, could not get my whole wheat bread today (this day and age never can tell what is in stock) so had to go with a regular bun.
Added organic onions, organic valley cheese, and my tomatoes i grow (of course organic)
a little organic stone ground mustard and chosen food coconut mayo.
Sounds like you are planning a few good meals up and coming. What your plans for the pork.
This person is about 10 miles from me, i did not get my beef i cooked today from him. but he has a great place.
Greenwood was hit hard in the late eighties, with businesses like bakeries, etc.. closing. Family business that the owners were retiring and no family member wanting to continue the business. If bakeries are open in your area you may have better luck there if you need something specific.
I’m sure you enjoyed the burger.I’ve never tried coconut mayo. Is it tasty?
I buy in bulk and plan by the week. Certain cuts are reserved for holidays. But I prefer flexibility in meal planning.
Do you usually order from him?

I have some in the pantry made with avocado oil. But I usually opt for olive oil instead.I do like the coconut, also avocado i will not use the regular mayonnaise now.
I have not ordered form bryant yet, i think he has been doing this about a year. I have beef in the freezer i need to eat up first. With mom in her 90's now she does not eat beef as much, more chicken and fish. So really it is just me eating the beef and that is just, (an occasional) usually Saturdays for lunch, that I bring out the beef, but that is just me now.
She had today baked chicken, onion rings, candied yams (actually a sweet potato) and green peas with a little lemon pie.
But i have heard a few folks, who say his beef is real good.
That’s unfortunate. Family businesses require lots of grooming. You have to impart the value of its continuance which ties into the greater honor of being one of the tribe. But if duty is absent there’s little chance they’ll push through the challenges.

It sounds like she has a hearty appetite.
For a small household there’s little savings buying direct. You’d normally pay retail prices for the cuts. Bundles are an option. They’re smaller than bulk orders.
I’m deciding between a few options for fish delivery. I prefer a service which allows me to customize the box. I don’t want them choosing for me. Hopefully I’ll narrow it down in a day or two.
Do you grow your own vegetables? Or get them from the farmers market or grocer?
~Bella
I NEED SOMEONE TO TAKE THESE SWEDISH FISH AWAY....STAT.
Yum, E102. *drools*Are they the kind of gorgeous deliciousness made from real salmon and dill?
Or are they the kind made from sugar, wax, and a bunch of garishly artificial colours like E102, E110, E129, and E133?
