Hi guys! Breezin in and breezin out...
Worked a very long and exhausting week of drawing workshops and art stuff with students and am fighting a fever. Time to go home and take a hot bath and a nappy!

Wolflily, what is a nappy? Nappies are the things I am trying to get my 2 yo to stop wearing!!!! (oh and for those who are interested, I finally got him to sit on the potty - backwards mind you, but it is a start. He was playing with his pooh bear, and I said, pooh bear needs to sit on the potty, so he stuck him on there, then D said, "Daniels turn" and sat on it and read a story lol)

The recipe looks rather good! It's got yummy milo in it!!! Ow! I love my milo! I'll even mix it with cream till it's stiff...and eat.....

OK then Bev. Would you be game enough to try one and report back what it tastes like? Actually, don't worry about it; I'm nowhere near wanting to try one and it'd seem unfair if I didn't join you.

Oh struth! Chris...msn!!! 8 hours we talked from one side of the world to the other! Didn't we Chris! Our space bars are nearly worn out and Shout made it till 4.a.m. on England!!!! Way to go Shout!! Oh boy! Didn't some CF members meet some CF members today! But....I've got a sore [bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse]!!!
And...we talked about anything & everything! From animals...to housing...and...we even had prayer. Love you all!

And the fever has turned into the flu and I'm too restless and uncomfortable to get back to bed, so here I am to bother my Aussie pals. (oh, as in "mates" for those who need interpretation around here!!)

Last night I watched Bridget Jone's diary. I hadn't seen it before. R warned me about the language and a few dodgy scenes, but apart from that, it was so funny lol. It is definitely my kind of movie.


Yesterday just hung around trying to keep cool. Saturdays are usually very quiet here. The house is a mess because it's too hot to do housework.

Today have R"s family coming over to pray and stuff. We have airconditioning here lol. Hoping today will be better than last time and I will be able to keep my mouth shut. I ended up telling R, what I did the other night. He was a bit surprised and pointed out that since he's the brother he should be the one having arguments with BIL.

My mum has been very rude to us lately and made a few nasty comments about how easy it is to survive on Centrelink payments (don't know when the last time she had to do that, probably 30 yr ago ) Anyway, we are getting diddly squat from them at the moment. So I am really feeling down, especially since I made a new year resolution to spend more time with my family, not just R's.

Well...today I have to drive out to a neighbouring town to help a friend in distress. So...just want to answer a few pm's then get dressed and drive out.
Mama...it's very hard on Centrelink payments when you have sich a high rent to pay!

Tody...hmm...I went shopping. And almost keeled over from lack of bargains. Not even under alien water torture will I pay $40 for a church blouse.

Allison just gave me a "smoothie" and said, "Don't worry about the chunky stuff in it. I know it looks like vomit, but it's not." so now I'm contemplating whether to actually drink it or not. She said she put banana juice in it. How on earth do you juice a banana!? I think I'll take a picture of it. It looks like chunky milk.
