When Jesus died, what day of the week did he rise?

Also, what day is the sabbath? Is it Saturday?

I'm in an argument with my dad about these two questions and would like to know what you guys say.

You will not find one single verse that says Sunday is now the Sabbath. You will not find any verse that states Sunday is to be a day to worship Jesus in commemoration of His rising from the dead. The 7th day of the week is, and always will be--God's Sabbath. The Sabbath was instituted at Creation, there were no Jews then. Jesus said the Sabbath was made for man, He never said it was made for the Jews.
All first Christians all worshipped on Saturday---it slowly changed to Sunday because of the persecution of the Jews by the Romans. It was started by men who did not want to be associated with Judaism. Problem is=-=-=-God does not distinguish His people by nationality. --His people worship Him on His day, no matter what their nationality is. Throughout history there have always been 7th day keepers. They have remained a remnant. Until now when we, and every Sabbath keeper, are proclaiming His true Sabbath. The 7th day Sabbath is the Lord's day, not Sunday---that is man's day. The sanctity of the 7th day was transferred to Sunday by the Catholic Popes. But first started by Emperor Constantine by a decree. There is no biblical day other than the 7th day for worship of God. There are only man-made rules for Sunday worship.

It is a commandment written by the hand of God Himself. He wrote it, and only He can change it. It does not change with the covenants=--neither do any other commandments. The unrepentant breaking of any of them shuts you out of the heavenly realm. Keeping any commandment will not save you, unrepentant breaking of them will keep you out of God's presence, to be out of His presence is death.

No, I am infatuated with God's Word, and so was Bullinger. He was one of the best Christian Bible scholars of the 19th century. Just because I agree with him on this topic doesn't mean I agree with him on every idea in The Bible. For me to be able to do that it would have to mean I read God's Word for myself asking God's help in understanding, and not just look to commentaries for understanding like you no doubt do, otherwise why you would spend so much time here trying to discredit him?

Make things as you go I see. You even quote Exodus 12 which is about the day of atonement in the seventh month, which is not the passover. What you are doing is the work of a 'deceiver'. God rebuke you.

You haven't proven anything; I gave the Exodus 12 Scripture as proof about the passover events required per the Old Testament, which is what the Jews followed at the time of Christ's Ministry. All you've done is 'try' to create debate about the high days. Well Exodus 12 covers the high day for the passover, I showed that. So go off in some corner and debate yourself, because I don't have time for your foolish contradictions.
