1. the trinity is introduced (jesus is the word, God the father, and the spirit of God).
2. Through one man, sin entered the world. (so that by one man, sin might be defeated, see romans chapter 10 I believe).
3. Man has both a spirit, and a physical body.
4. All things that were made are good.
5. sin is a consquence of the misuse of our good free will. (adam and eve decided to eat the fruit, thus sinning, as a consequence).
6. the promise of a messiah (he will crush your head, and you will bite his heel).
7. as a result of the misuse of free will, sin enters the world, and is the consequence of disobeydience, putting us in seperation from God.
8. marriage is instituted (2:24)
9. the purpose of our sexuality (gen. 1:27, children and 2.24, intimacy with your wife i.e. "cleaving" or growing closer )
