I will also have a major in English with a minor in history and women's studies. To go with the theology degree I will be minoring in Bible studies.

I know that the usual answers are be a theology teacher, write a book about theology, etc.

I am looking to find something more outside the box. This is a fairly new development for me- my desire to have a career more closely related to the church.

I like helping people understand the bible, so maybe something in that?

A counselor of some kind?

I was looking for something fairly unique and not teaching or writing.

Thanks!

Much love!!

Why are you pursuing a theology degree? Do you feel called in some way by God that warrants the degree? I see you are a Presbyterian (as am I - PCA). Have you spoken to the elders in your church about your plans? Will you be attending a seminary that the local session/presbytery sees as one that would be acceptable to your being considered for positions of ordained leadership?

Seek the counsel of your pastor and the elder leadership is my advice to you.
