Like.....people who have to, like, use the word "like" in every sentence.

I agree. I used to believe it was my mission to point out other people's sins and faults. I used to relish in it and used the Bible to justify it, until God revealed to me my own sins - and talk about a plank in my own eye! Today I focus on my relationship with God and leave it to Him to decide and intervene if someone else's sin problems need fixing.

Godly chastisement through others often arrives when we’ve ignored the Holy Spirit’s promptings. Its meant to get our attention.

In my state you are allowed to cut anything on your side of the property line but maybe that is what he is counting on, lol. Happy Sabbath

LOL! It's those headlines! I try to avoid them like the plague....

cuz each time i read one or hear one i know they iz lyin' and just overflowin' with hypocrisy, and i gets ta prayin'.

Self-service checkouts, and especially staff on tills insisting that I use them. I usually respond by insisting that I won't.

First reason: With so many people looking for work to pay their bills, I don't like the idea of someone's job being replaced by a machine.

Second reason: Shops using self-service checkouts are saving money on staff. Those savings are not being passed onto me the customer. I still have to pay the same price for my shopping and I am getting less service. That does not seem very fair.

Third reason: Going to the shops and having conversations with staff is something that is really important for those who would otherwise feel lonely or isolated. Machines mean that less staff talk to their customers.
