I have 1 vol of Baxter , very thick , but not in German , it is from the 4 vol set by SDG .

I also have a few antiquarian books ........ my pride possesion is a Geneva Bible 1599 ..... printed in Amsterdam .

bibliophile, that's the right expression...

I do not consider books to be an expense/cost, rather an investment. Who knows for how long one can buy really good books - so fill your book-shelves as long as you can (and as long there is some money left....)

It's all I can do not to toss my house cleaning and Thanksgiving preparations aside to just read!
