fantastic piece on the days of Prince John I while King Richard the Lion-Hearted was fighting in the Crusades and then taken prisoner on his attempted return to England. Great to see the dynamics of relationships between Anglo-Saxons and Normans and also how Jews were treated then, it is like going there. And yes Sir Robin of Loxley does make an appearance.

yeah I've read reviews that make me somewhat suspicious of the agenda of the book, but I'm going to do some further research about him and his beliefs before I really come to a conclusion.

The book I'm currently reading right now is The Book of Mychal. The book follows the life of Mychal Judge as a Franciscian friar and why he became a Fire Chapelin for the FDNY. So far I am 11 chapters into the book and so far it is really good. Hopefully I can finish it before summer is over.
