I'm another library person. I love the library. Free books, magazines, CDs, DVDs, and internet. My only complaint is the difficulty in getting some newer or more popular books and movies, although there are usually other books I can read while I'm waitlisted.

Just finished Ender's Game yesterday. Loved it. I thought I had read it in high school, I did, but it was still great to read again.

It is excellent. Have you read Speaker for the Dead and Xenocide? I also very highly recommend the Shadow series, which is the story of battle school and the war on Earth following the Formic War from the perspectives of Bean, Petra, and Peter Wiggin. I think they're just as good, and the first, Ender's Shadow, is even better in some respects than Ender's Game.

Agreed. I haven't read the Speaker for the Dead spin-off stuff, but I've read all the earthbound Ender books and they're terrific. Ender's Shadow really is better than Ender's Game.

I haven't read any other books by that author. I was going to go by the list of books that are in the front of Ender's Game and the next one is Speaker for the Dead. I assumed all of the books were one series, but the Shadow books are separate? I'll still read them in the order they are listed. Unfortunately, the library only has one copy of Speaker for the Dead and it's checked out right now.
