Seebs, hmmm... sounds like you're mixing up human & divine standards of "good" & "evil", expecting consistancy where it is only apparantly partial.
It is abstractly & ultimately true that God's motivations are good & fallen mankind's motivations are fallen(evil). But don't confuse malicious evil with the evil of a sinful nature
