I'm tired of being compared to idol worshippers... Jehovah Witnesses and Mormons.

I'm tired of being told the Christ didn't die on Friday afternoon and was risen on Sunday.

I don't think it is the topic for me. I think it is more the beligerance, dismissal of facts and ad hominem.

I agree. It is evident from some posts that the person doing the posting is attempting to intinidate others into accepting his theology, irregardless of the actual evidence for or against it.

I am tired of hearing about circumcisions, sabbaths and pork eating....tho I do find they can be entertaining sometimes [which I feel should be on the Covenant Theology board ehehe]

"None should limit interpretation of Scripture to self, but I'm the only one who can interpret it." (The appointment by self of self as the sole authoritative itnerpreter)

"If I agree with me, then I'm right." (My teachings are the rule for my teachings - and yours too" The "Tradition" card)

"What Scripture says is not what it says, it's what I say it means" ("Jesus said!" Then you ask where, they give their INTERPRETATION - usually of something that isn't even in the text).

1) Judgment, judgment, judgment.
2) Christmas is for pagans.
3) That knowledge isn't important/or people who meet God in a scholarly way are somehow "inferior".
4) That my favorite pastor is a "heretic". (Subjective)
5) "I'm just taking Scripture for what it says."
6) "I only listen to God and not to man."

I'm tired of hearing that Romans chapter 7 is talking about Paul as a Christian and not talking about Paul while he was still under the law.

I'm tired of hearing that "God" (certainly not my God) predestined certain individuals to hell and predestined others to heaven (not that heaven is the believer's final destination anyway).

Well, those are probably my top two, but, in all fairness, I haven't really taken on either teaching yet...mostly due to my busy schedule.
