  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

If the island's vegetation supports a pig population it will support you!

And if it is only one pig, then starvation is going to happen anyway. Might as well wait!

Actually though, the clean and unclean laws are reflective of good health principles, but the Acts council didn't make them binding on me as a gentile, so I suppose I would just eat the pig.
Though i vehemently disagree with your interpretation of the Council in Jerusalem, i really appreciate your honesty and consistancy, unlike some Adventist that have created this false divisions of moral, civil, ceremonial law ect. ect. you have honestly kramed them into one law as scripture teaches, plus you feel under no obligation to keep the Mosaic Law which in my opinion is a misconception but to each his own.... Unlike most Adventist that would tell you the Mosaic law was done away with, all we have now is the Ten Commandments and thats it, yet they still observe some of the Mosaic laws like tithing, kosher, and a host of others, That my brother is inconsistancy, and it's what i really appreciate from you that your extremely consistent...

Thanks, the Acts Council is an interesting topic. In fact, it is one that has come up in a number of GT topics as of late.

Perhaps we need a topic on it here.

(Or pherhaps you should venture out to GT and get into circulation!)

I was thinking about this the other day. Obviously, as SDA's, we try to stay away from meat like pork. But what if you were stranded on an island with NOTHING at all to eat? You prayed to God for food, and later that day, a pig came across your path.

Would you eat the pig, even though it is unclean?

My pastor and I spoke about this for a while. I know what I believe about it. What are your thoughts?

It's like this.. you wanna live or die? Balls in your court!
