I appreciate the response. I only mention your feelings because I wanted your opinion on these two terms that I feel qualify as feelings, Lust and Love. I agree they are two different experiences, but I also would describe Lust as carnally self-serving, while Love is spiritually self-sacrificing and therefore love is often at odds with our own carnal pleasure. I bring this up because the difference between moral/immoral is caring about how our actions affect others, and not caring how our actions affect others.

You're talking with others about the Gospel and speaking about homosexuality, but the New Testament frames the topic of all sins in terms of carnal lusts that are inordinate and that's important to understand. We all have flesh that likes comfort and avoids discomfort, but an inordinate affection is when it crosses the line and enters into immorality. In the self-serving carnal pleasure of immorality I can even imagine a place so far in separation from Love, that we wouldn't even care that we had no love.

God definitely would not approve of perversion, yet God gave us up to uncleanness and inordinate affections wherein we do what is dishonorable, and it's not just homosexuality but sinfulness in many forms as shown in Romans 1.

The point I see Paul making is that because when we knew God, we did not glorify God as God (our Light), and were not thankful to Him as Who makes us Holy, He therefore gave us over to the lusts of our hearts to dishonor ourselves.

I'm only disgusted by hedonism thanks be to God. Believing in The Gospel is partly about confessing that, acknowledging I am a wretch in need of a savior.

I do put a lot of confidence into the word of God. It is a book full of wisdom and whenever I read, sometimes the Holy Spirit explains it to me. Would you care to venture a guess as to how long I have been praying for wisdom & understanding and discernment? A number of them easily.

So, yeah after awhile of walking with the Lord, Clarity becomes even clearer. In short, yes, I know a dog turd when I see it. The sin that we speak of is a rebellion against God. Scripture says that, if you are not with God then you are against God.

Now I know that God loves me. So I love God. Part of showing God that we love Him is to be obedient. That means to stop sinning. Let His Spirit lead us through this valley of tears that we call earth.

So your difference of opinions actually matters not one whit to me because This is actually between you and God and not even my business. I understand that you have a much different opinion. But I have spoken the truth. If that offends people then shall I stop speaking the truth? God forbid. That doesn't make us christians mean it just means that the real truth is more important than if one gets offended. Yes at times, the truth stings. But it is the truth.

Over 30 years ago at the company I worked for my boss asked me about someone that used me for a reference.
I told him he was a good worker, friendly and conscientious about his work.
Then he asked me if he was gay.
I said I don’t know if he is or not but I know he will do a good job for you.
They didn’t hire him.
They missed out on a good worker.
Years later I heard he was sick and he died before I got the chance to go see him. He died of AIDS, so maybe he was gay.
But he was my friend and he was a good worker.

Indeed. But you are undoubtedly aware that homosexuality is brought up as being sinful much more than other sins, when it is obviously a matter that involves a very small percentage of the population. To the point where we have a poster calling for all gay teachers to be sacked. Should we sack all those who have been divorced? Who have had an abortion? Who might have had sex outside marriage?

The obvious question to ask is just what in heaven's name somebody's private details have to do with anyone else. Do people say that you can invite someone over for dinner with their girlfriend except if they are sleeping together? Do you need to send then a questionnaire before they can come over. 'Please tick all the boxes that are applicable'. Of course not.

You don't think all the transitioning that was done in Tavistock was not done on an individual basis? What about all the kids that have been transitioned in the US? They were not done on individual basis?

Just being done on an individual basis is always how it's been done. And now we are finding out that the way it was done was wrong. This is not about individual basis. This is about methodology. What is the right thing to do? And more and more professionals are saying it should either not be done at all or that more research needs to be done to determine the right methods of dealing with kids with gender dysphoria.

And not all kids that were transitioned had it so there was no need for transitioning. Yet individually they were.

I'm on the side of the professionals who say we don't need to transition kids. That there are other methods to help them. The better option for individuals.

Parents sue school officials for helping their kids transition without their knowledge

This is how schools are trying to gender-transition children without parents' knowledge

And who said anything about only schools? When you transition a kid where do you think it will lead? To those things I mentioned. Wake up man.

When you trans a kid they go on to take puberty blockers. Then almost 100% go on to hormones. They can get surgeries to cut off perfectly healthy body parts then sew on ones that don't function. Rendering the sterile and a loss of sexual pleasure producing areas.

The moment a school introduced to a kid that they might be the opposite sex the trouble starts and schools transition the kids.

Who do you think told Paul to write that? He has the mind of Christ. That was God, speaking through him and Jesus is God.

I've worked with 5 different gay people. I ate with them, talked with them, went on coffee breaks with them. Rode around with them.

I recommended them for promotions etc. I was a reference. I think Paul had it right. You can't remove yourself from the world. It all around us. There are lots people everywhere and in every family, workplace, business, stores and places of entertainment and even in churches. For Pete's sake if it weren't for Christ's righteousness in me I'd be lost too. I've had a lot of non-Christan friends. I don't go around pointing fingers and yelling "sinner!"

But if someone asks I'll say. Yup it's (whatever It's is) a sin. But that's not what's going to keep you out of heaven. It's failing to accept Christ as your Lord and Savior and living for him, picking up your cross and following him, forgetting what lies behind.

What are your thoughts on this?
