It’s from the New Testament written by Paul chosen by Christ to preach the gospel.Because it is not from a Gospel. That is what I stipulated.
You, no doubt, are Christian. I am an atheist. Neither of us are Paulians.
My Bible gives the verses as:
For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: 27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.
No question: Paul disapproved! I don't.
Show me that Jesus had a view.
Actually the verse says God disapproves, not Paul.Because it is not from a Gospel. That is what I stipulated.

I appreciate the response. I only mention your feelings because I wanted your opinion on these two terms that I feel qualify as feelings, Lust and Love. I agree they are two different experiences, but I also would describe Lust as carnally self-serving, while Love is spiritually self-sacrificing and therefore love is often at odds with our own carnal pleasure. I bring this up because the difference between moral/immoral is caring about how our actions affect others, and not caring how our actions affect others.I'm not sure what my feelings have to do with the topic under discussion but for what it is worth I think they are two different things.
Doesn't everybody?
God definitely would not approve of perversion, yet God gave us up to uncleanness and inordinate affections wherein we do what is dishonorable, and it's not just homosexuality but sinfulness in many forms as shown in Romans 1.Actually the verse says God disapproves, not Paul.
Mat 5:18 - For verily I say-unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.Because it is not from a Gospel. That is what I stipulated.

Yes. The difference is in opinions of what is immoral.
I should be interested in how you can twist your scripture to justify your assertion that 'everything out of their mouths is lies'. Please quote from the Gospels if you can find anything at all there about homosexuals.
I am not really interested in all that, as you must know.I do put a lot of confidence into the word of God. It is a book full of wisdom and whenever I read, sometimes the Holy Spirit explains it to me. Would you care to venture a guess as to how long I have been praying for wisdom & understanding and discernment? A number of them easily.
So, yeah after awhile of walking with the Lord, Clarity becomes even clearer. In short, yes, I know a dog turd when I see it. The sin that we speak of is a rebellion against God. Scripture says that, if you are not with God then you are against God.
Now I know that God loves me. So I love God. Part of showing God that we love Him is to be obedient. That means to stop sinning. Let His Spirit lead us through this valley of tears that we call earth.
So your difference of opinions actually matters not one whit to me because This is actually between you and God and not even my business. I understand that you have a much different opinion. But I have spoken the truth. If that offends people then shall I stop speaking the truth? God forbid. That doesn't make us christians mean it just means that the real truth is more important than if one gets offended. Yes at times, the truth stings. But it is the truth.
Maybe Divide will see that and reconsider.Gay people work and succeed in many areas, Tammy Bruce is a conservative commentator on Fox News who happens to be gay.
I don’t support discrimination against gay people.
So if a friend of yours has a gay daughter...Because I dont hang out with thwm, seek them out or let them in my house.
Over 30 years ago at the company I worked for my boss asked me about someone that used me for a reference. So if a friend of yours has a gay daughter...
'Hi, Joe. Want to come over for a barbie with the family? Haven't seen you guys for ages. Oh, except your daughter of course'.
Or maybe you don't hang out with people who have gay relatives or gay friends. Maybe you don't work someplace where there are gay people. I guess you don't live in German Village.
Indeed. But you are undoubtedly aware that homosexuality is brought up as being sinful much more than other sins, when it is obviously a matter that involves a very small percentage of the population. To the point where we have a poster calling for all gay teachers to be sacked. Should we sack all those who have been divorced? Who have had an abortion? Who might have had sex outside marriage?God definitely would not approve of perversion, yet God gave us up to uncleanness and inordinate affections wherein we do what is dishonorable, and it's not just homosexuality but sinfulness in many forms as shown in Romans 1.
Some of the posts here have made me depressed. Not a great way to start the day. But yours has cheered me up. Thanks.Over 30 years ago at the company I worked for my boss asked me about someone that used me for a reference.
I told him he was a good worker, friendly and conscientious about his work.
Then he asked me if he was gay.
I said I don’t know if he is or not but I know he will do a good job for you.
They didn’t hire him.
They missed out on a good worker.
Years later I heard he was sick and he died before I got the chance to go see him. He died of AIDS, so maybe he was gay.
But he was my friend and he was a good worker.
sickThe second half of the video shows crimes committed against children by those singing "we're coming for your children".
Maybe you can share with us exactly what it takes to determine that a child should be transitioned with drugs and surgeries? You keep talking about individual cases.Maybe you missed the post where I said, yet again, that each case needs to be addressed individually. That's the difficult option. To differentiate between genuine cases and to determine the best options for that individual. Whatever that may be.
Really? Even if the child wanted to tattoo their face to look like a skeleton? Maybe a red demon? Or they wanted a full body tattoo to look like a gold fish or a dragon.I didn't say I wouldn't allow a permanent one. I said I'd propose a semi permanant one first. In fact, I'd insist on it. I think that's an option in both cases. Only a fool would readily and immediately concede to every request from their child. If the temporary solution only showed that there was most definitely a need to take it further, and that would be after some time and a considerable amount of professional help, then a decision would be made in the best interest of the child.
What other parent would do anything different?
Wrong.Paranoid rubbish! I have no secret intent.
I have been straightforward and honest - as always - and I resent the imputation.
You think that is what teachers in schools are doing? I think you need to back up these allegations. Of course you won't because you cannot.
Who do you think told Paul to write that? He has the mind of Christ. That was God, speaking through him and Jesus is God.Because it is not from a Gospel. That is what I stipulated.

By the way do you actually believe the gospels and everything that is written there? If Jesus said something you would believe it? Or are you actually trying to prove something else?Because it is not from a Gospel. That is what I stipulated.

I've worked with 5 different gay people. I ate with them, talked with them, went on coffee breaks with them. Rode around with them.Over 30 years ago at the company I worked for my boss asked me about someone that used me for a reference.
