The Life And Times Of Tim. Been watching it this last week.. weird. I loved this show.. but haven't seen it for maybe several years. Kind of a weird time capsule in my life.

Just got thru watching Back to the Future Part 1. It's up for debate, but part 2 might possibly be a rare example of where a sequel was actually better than the original.

Barbarians on Netflix. Interesting to see what my ancient ancestors lived like. Those stupid Romans, lol.

So far the show is alright.. some annoying feminist tendencies and some of the action sequences are too Hollywood for my tastes. I'd prefer a more realistic grounded show.

I hate to say it though, but if I lived back then I would rather be a Roman than some Barbarian in the north. I think the Ancient Romans would be shocked about how far in progress the northern Europeans became in the coming centuries. They'd be shocked that their colony of "Britannia" eventually became themselves the largest empire in human history. And how fashion and styles of the north came to dominate the whole world.

Looks like the oppressed woman with her dim witted male lackeys managed to steal the golden eagle from the oppressive patriarchal Roman army.

Although to be fair.. I think a German woman was pretty instrumental during this actual historic battle. So I guess I can chalk some of it up to that.

I like it thus far. It tries to recreate the feel of a 1930s/1940s movie. Believe even the audio is scaled back (although not the soundtrack). Would be nice to be alive during those times.

Watched a Michael Douglas movie called, "Falling Down".
Watched a Tom Cruise movie called, "Collateral".

Both were pretty good.
