CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Im thinking this is so funny..
A little girl named Molly went up to the front of the class to tell a Bible story. She had been given an assignment to pick some story to tell, and chose the story of Jonah and the whale. After she was finished, her teacher came to the front of the room and started questioning her. He made fun of her, telling her that such a preposterous story couldn't possibly be true. We pick up the dialogue at this point:
Teacher: "Molly, this story is make-believe. No one could be inside a whales stomach for three days and still be alive"
Molly: "Well, the Bible says it's so, so it must be real."
Teacher: "How can that be? With all the stomach juices in there churning around, and no air. Can you explain that?"
Molly: "No sir. I guess I'll just have to ask Jonah about it when I see him in heaven."
Teacher: "And what if Jonah isn't in heaven?"
Molly: "Then you can ask him!"
