I have a habit of checking the time constantly when I'm expecting company, when expecting a phone call, or when I'm cooking. I love sweets. I also have a habit of making sure the doors are locked and my bedroom door is locked before I go to bed.

I have to have my closet doors closed At least I used to 'cause I was afraid of what might come out when I sleep I don't care as much anymore.

I am compulsive about cleaning down my sink and counters after I have prepped chicken. I get out all of the Clorox stuff, because I feel soap just isn't enough. I don't want to get nor do I want anyone to get salmonella poisoning.
I guess I could put this in the irrational fears thread over in WD too.

Most people describe me as obsesive compulsive because i dont like to sit still. Even when m sitting down i have to be tapping my foot or doing something. But as far as my major quirks let me see: i have to have the closet door shut when i sleep, my feet have to be completely covered up when i sleep. i also have a fear of having bad breath so i carry mouthwash and those listerine strips evrywhere. Im sure i have more but i cant think of any right now.

I wish everyone had this habit! I get creeped out when I think about people in food service and what bacteria may be lurking..... I was at a mall in Bloomington, IN and out of 5 people who used the restroom (including myself) while I was in there...only 2 washed their hands! (me and my coworker!)

To wash your hands, especially to eat and after you used the bathroom.

I can soooooooooooo relate to the foot-tapping thing! I"m sure I used to drive teachers/profs crazy because I would sit in the first row of class (because my hearing isn't the greatest...nor is my ability to stay focused! lol) and I would CONSTANTLY be moving my leg. I still do it.

Breath issues....yeah, I have gum with me a lot anymore hoping that helps. lol

At one point, my hands getting them wash all the time became so extreme that they were getting dry. That I had to use lotion on my hands after I washed my hands not once but twice at the time at one point.
