Just finished listening to the new Any Weir book Project Hail Mary. Every bit as good as The Martian which is one of my favorite books. A guy wakes up from a coma and doesn't know where or who he is. Through vignettes of the past, we learn along with him where he is and why, and what he is supposed to be doing. I will say that this is a mix of hard and soft science fiction and it is a very interesting premise and story. Ray Porter is the narrator and he does a fantastic job. It's a lot like the Martian but with a twist. It's the first book I've listened to in a while that I literally was on the edge of my seat, anxious but
also intensely awaiting what happens next. One of the most interesting drive systems for a space ship I've ever come across. I give it 5 stars.
