I never bought any Barry McGuire. I saw him in concert in PA (late 70s?). I must have 10+ albums of Keaggy. It took me while to give up on him, but the last few albums I bought were too "easy listening" for me. (ETA: I even have a couple of Glass Harp.)
Yeah, I only ever bought that Barry McGuire album with 2nd chapter, liked him but not enough to spend hard-earned cash on. I agree about Phil Keaggy, but he is his own musician, for sure. Does his own thinking, seems to me. Amazing guitarist, too. I don't have much of his stuff, though. Haven't listened to him in years. Not familiar with Glass Harp.

Glass Harp was his first band. If you like a 60s psychedelic vibe, you'd probably like it.

Here's an example (1st album, I think):

Yeah, I can see how that could get old, although there are a couple of pretty good ones.

Lol, One of those sound like there was some plagiarising between Neil Young's Down By The River "You be on my side, I'll be on your side..." Don't know who came first, but the words are different.

Neil Young's song was 1969. Glass Harp from in 1970, so ...

When your spine is cracking and your hands, they shake
Heart is bursting and your butt's gonna break
Woman's cussing, you can hear her scream
Feel like murder in the first degree

Everybody's stepping on their accelerator
