  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

What are you listening to?

Post your playlist, the stuff you have been listening to, working out to, running to, etc.

Current List:

Auld Lang Syne by Tim Eriksen
How Many More Years by Howlin' Wolf
How Many More Years by Jim Arkus
Spoonful by Arkus
Short Life of Trouble, Keep My Skillet Greasy and Poor Ellen Smith Live by Frank Fairfield
Jesus Gonna Make Up My Dying Bed by Porkchop
You Don't Lift Me by Mamie Minch
Last Chance, Golden Harp and Gabriel's Trumpet by Eriksen
Wagon Wheel by Old Crow Medicine Show

I've been listening to albums. I just put in the album or click on it and let it play from beginning to end. I play a lot of chess on chess.com and I like to listen to music while I do that. I also listen to it in the car and at work sometimes. I drive to Oklahoma and back every other Friday so I listen to music the whole way during that trip as well.

My recent list:

All 15 Iron Maiden studio albums. I'm into them the most right now.
Judas Priest - Painkiller, Defender of the Faith, British Steel
Def Leppard - On through the night, High n Dry, Pyromania, Hysteria, Euphoria
Dio - The Very Best of Dio (its a greatest hits type album...)
Fleetwood Mac - Rumors
Dokken - Back for the Attack
Kiss - Sonic Boom (they are about to release another new album, can't wait) :)

Sounds interesting. Are they trying to be scary? I mean, is that the thing? (I'm not poking fun.)
naa there thing isn't to be scary, but to rather have a kinda spaghetti western sounding, "sad" sort of music. Its good stuff.
