I never said that I have never done wrong. I'm only human and don't claim perfection. But sin doesn't exist. It's just an idea thrown around to control people like you. Hell isn't real, but it's a great way to control the simple minded-like you.

How about you actually do something to prove your religion (hateful as it is) to be true. Then you can go and preach your hellfire, brimestone, Chicken Little (the sky is falling) style of Christianity.

In short, you need to overcome your addiction. Why do you follow a monster. You god sounds like other Christian's Satan.

Chris.. Your argument isn't going to work here. As non-Christians we all have different ideas of 'sin' and all of that. You can tell us all day long what the Bible says and it isn't going to make a bit of difference. If we believed in the Bible we would be Christians, and there would be no need for this conversation. Since I do not believe the Bible is the word of God, you quoting it to me and telling me the ideas it puts forth is pretty much a waste of time.

Furthermore, all this thread does is remind me why I am no longer Christian. What a horribly negative world view.

The world is a scary place. It is not just a thought, it's a reality. It being impossible to unsave yourself, I would have to doubt you were ever really a Christian.

If Person X was to go up to you and say "Well, how will you answer to Thor after you die?" "What are you going to do?"

What would you say? How would you react? You do not believe in the existence of Thor and therefore answering to Thor under your world view is simply not going to happen - therefore the question is meaningless and the only real answer can be that you do not think it is going to even happen.

This is precisely the case with Atheists and sin. Atheists do not accept the foundations of your entire argument (that sin exists and it ought to be repented for to God). Your argument therefore is entirely meaningless to Atheists and one rather large begging the question fallacy.

You should try to back up what you say with proof (hint, the Bible only counts as proof once you have proven the Bible as true..), otherwise, why should any of us believe you? You give us no reason to.

That, and your attitude here really turns people away even more.. do you consider that? Do you think about the best way to approach a non-Christian? Do you realize that we do not believe in the Bible as you do (or yet again, we'd be Christian) so these arguments don't have a whole lot of weight? Absolutely not. Either he wouldn't be omniscent, because he wouldn't know who was going, or he wouldn't be omnipotent, because he didn't just stop people from going there. Either way, that makes him the antithesis of omnibenevolent - read evil - for condemning his children to eternal torture.

It's just not something I'm buying, sorry.

You can not be raised Christian. Christianity is not a race of people. The fact that you know God exist, and yet willfilly reject him is being willfully blind. You are wrong, I do not demonize others. I read the Bible, and it says you are the children of Satan.
