I totally agree. :)

I give my non-single friends a bad time when they get all mushy or weird, but in reality I'm happy for them. I pray for my friends' marriages.

Everybody goes through "down" times, so it's all right if someone feels bad about being single or whatever. But I don't feel the need to mourn my single status this Valentine's Day -- life is pretty good, and I'm happy that there is love in the world.

neither do i, that was me tryin to be funny but alas i am a failer  i'll be in the compost bin  (i added a very unrealistic bit to that so you would understand i am not serious ;))

dont forget people we have a relationship with christ. thats really all that matters and so as singles we may not have anything to celebrate but as christian singles we have everything .

this may sound silly but I will be writing to my future wife on V-day and I havent met her yet . think about it guys if you want her to go crazy over you in marriage write to her before you get introduced to her. it will make her feel chesrished.

its possible to fall in love with the person you will one day marry before you meet them morso its (the concept of them) but its all about putting your faith in christ with your future and waiting on his direction and in doing so you take yourself out of "the game" which says to her, I saved myself completely for you emotionally and physically.

Working from 9 am to midnight -- playing catch up... 15 hours of remote pro-bono I obligated myself to do....

Of course I imagine there will be some breaks, but...
why do I do these things to myself...(not really a question)...

Long day... yeeks... What do you do?

Researching and writing memos for a child advocacy organization in NYC... I am supposed to be learning from this, but I think I might only be working like a dog. I owe them 15 hours a week and I pretty much skipped work the last two weeks. So, it goes Th, Fri, Sat 9am-midnight. But of course I will take regular breaks for essentials like eating, breathing, and CF posting. ;)

Of course -- the essentials. ;) (Although you must have some kind of "condition" if you have to take a break to breathe -- or maybe the children you help are some kind of mutant underwater fish children.)

But seriously, sounds like the kind of thing that can get intense. Those "learning" jobs often are. :D

By "breathing" I mean the special kind of breathing I do while taking a walk along the Charles River. ;)

And it's unfortunate the children aren't of the mutant underwater kind -- they would possess tons of marketable skills! Plus they wouldn't need shelter, food would be provided by the endless bounty of the sea, education would be taken care of when they swim in schools , etc.

Charles River? You live in Boston or Cambridge then?
