Announcements will be made in the respective forums as well but please note that if yours is currently listed as Private, you will need to submit a ticket in the Support Area to have yours changed.

  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Marduke, for a while there I was convinced you were a man of good taste like all Ford owners, but......................(sigh) Another one bites the dust, hey

hehe now that i work for ford i can say i wouldnt own one :p neither a holden (they use almost the same parts... lol) id much rather a reliable japanese car (they have car making down to a fine art) over any aussie, american or european (some are good but most are bad) built car.

I have issues with employees of a company that don't endorse their products...:p jk...I agree with ya in terms of Japanese cars :)

Today I started this semester of uni, and picked up my car from the smash repairers. Looks a lot healthier than it did 2 Wednesdays ago! :D

My old 1992 Ford, (still got it) has only had it's radiator, tyres and sparkplugs changed in all that time. Now we've got a Fairmont Ghia BA which I know will do just as well. The EB's diff doesn't even look like dying..........hmmmmmmmmm...and it's done plenty of trouble free K's in the Northwest, too!

yeah but those are basically base models (bar the ghia which is an overglorified BA XT falcon.. :p still very nice cars :) ) but its the performance cars that have the troubles.. i had to replace a diff on an xr6 turbo yesterday after only 5000k's.... but the falcons are good cars otherwise.. hence why nearly all taxi's are falcons :)

Today I had to have my Health Check. After that Pnuemonia Dr had to see if all was OK.
And all is well! Apart from that - just the norm ...

A clean bill of health is the best - much better than the bill you get for the consultation of course! ^_^

Today I had a uni class, and this afternoon I didn't do much at all other than a bit of cleaning up around the place.

aww thanks!

for someone who is supposed to be in the classroom all day long... i managed to be in there for all of marking the roll! ^_^ nah, today was good... but tiring :) we had the field events sports carnival, that ended up going until lunchtime... and then in the afternoon my teacher and I had our RFF time, and went through what I'll be doing for the next couple of days :)

So I should go and start thinking about typing up some lesson plans for tomorrow.

I've been spending most of the day looking for heritage listed buildings on the Internet that are in a decrepit state. Another assignment I have is to find one and propose how it could be restored and converted for a different use to what it is/was being used for now. Should be quite interesting - I'll be going to some of the places I think might be good for a little while tomorrow and taking photos, seeing if I can talk to the building occupiers, etc...:)
